LOL, thanks for the info bro!! Im looking at the hand winches/ power pullers / cable pullers but they seem to range from 30 bucks to over 300, pretty big price range so im not sure which i should get. Is there certain criteria i should look for ? Im guessing the 3 ton or up ?

    Which do you use?

I got these 3 things in my cart... Good buys? not so much ?

I have absolutely no idea how fast I'm going if I take the digital speedo screen off, I'm so used to it from my WRX that I just can't read the actual speedo anymore lol

Has anyone (with direct knowledge) come up with a quality lift kit that is 2-3 inches that is also a bolt on, meaning, no cut or drill. Thanks in advance for info and pics...i looked throught the thread a bit but there is over 1100 pages of stuff to filter through.

I know it's been done hundreds of times, but I put an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 tonneau on today. Also in the past week or so, I got the bed mat and door sill protectors, and finally put the tailgate vinyls on. Added the sticker to the back window as well.

How'd you like that installation? They're pretty impressed with the torque on those cab rail screws, aren't they?

    Nice looking truck!!

But i want to give my condolences for 2 things.

    1. You live in PA.

    and

    2. You have only had 7 days of fishing this year.

Im truly sorry about this brother, smoke and prayers up for better fortune next year!!

    -Joke. Well kind of...

I lived in Philly for 6 years or so and hated life so i kind of have a hatred for PA in general, but i know your not in Philly, and no ill intentions meant brother.

As far as fishing is concerned i consider myself VERY lucky in the fact that i fish 2-3 times every week. Im addicted though. And i dont work. But when you're getting that paycheck and im as broke as a 2 dollar chubby whore with 1 leg, you're the one getting the last laugh!!

Yes they are! I'm not sure what I torqued them at, I'm sure the whole thing will fly off now!! I almost didnt take it off in effort to put those squares on, but decided it would be easier to just do it.

Install was pretty straight forward once I figured out what to do with the brackets. I had to take the rear ones off to use the bottom holes on the bracket instead of the top. Other than that, easy.

Would you mind pm'ing me a pic or two of where u put the tailgate seal? That diagram they included isn't the best. I have an idea where I'd like to, but want to compare that to what you did since u don't have any issues.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
pretty sure you can use a highlift as a hand winch. Get two birds stoned at once. They sell a little kit/adapter thingy for highlift so you can use it as a winch.

PA isn't that bad, you just lived in the worst part of it!!! The fishing days are just days I went out and seriously fished, and doesn't include the 10-15 I went out with my 6yo son. About 40 of those a were during one 6 hour outing with the fly rod!! Just thought I'd keep track somehow this year

Yeah, work is work, have to get them Benjamin's to pay for the truck!! When I retire, my wife won't see me on most days hopefully!! I'm thinking of buying a 16' John boat to have an excuse to get out more.

I have that USA made red one I showed you in the 3 ton rating about 200.00 trumps a cheapo 4 ton one any day. Had mine for years and its still solid. I would forgo the Hi Lift jack due to the fact that you do-not yet have sliders to use as jacking points, plus the winch gives you way more pull length before you need to re-rig your position. A good come-a-long for sure with the snatch block, chains and choker, gloves. Try Jet.com if you're new you get 15% off first three orders..
    Cheers:cheers:

I wanted to install my bed cover, but unfortunately they packaged it in a "too extremely large box" so now I have to go to the post office on my lunch break tomorrow. Joy.
