My boss gave me the opportunity of taking down his 1st gen SAS Double Cab Tacoma to Moab for a few days.Even though I had never driven this truck and was very nervous how could anyone turn that down? I also had a friend offer to Haul my buggy down for me. So i trailered down the Taco and he Trailered my Buggy.

Before we could leave i had to make sure I grabbed some spare Tie Rod ends that Lauren had ordered.20160531_134036.jpg

Fueled up the tow rigs and then we were off!20160531_145651.jpg 20160531_145639.jpg

My dirty Cummins broke 100,000 miles on the way down had to get a pic20160531_183052.jpg
The drive went well for the most part.20160531_191801.jpg 20160531_193837.jpg

Finally made it to Area BFE set up camp and went to bed.

Day 2 We slept in and just Enjoyed the bugs for awhile
Terrible video of the lower lots from the upper parking lot

    20160601_075341.jpg
Then we went into town to Moab Ice. Trail-Gear and shipped 2 boxes of swag there for me to give away.20160601_101304.jpg
Got some food and other supplies then headed back out to BFE.
Set up the TG pop up and parked my buggy next to it
    20160601_113609.jpg

Then had to pose the LROR Taco next to Detail Dan's !

Hung out some more.. then delivered some parts to Lauren. Her group asked about the BFE trails. I took them out on GreenDay ( One of my all time favorite trails. Can be fun for a stock rig or a challenge for fully built rock crawlers depending on what line you try)

I was a little late on this video of Bradley but you get the idea haha

Then I backed the bosses truck into a low hanging tree branch….

When we got to Suicide Hill the group was wondering if people really climb it. I said I had so here is some evidence to back it up. This is the first time I climbed it like 6? or so years ago.. Back when it had trees on it ( Lightening got 1 and idiots got the other)

Finished the trail and headed back to camp
    20160601_143757.jpg

Hung out for awhile but the bugs and heat were killing me so we decided to go swimming..Instead of getting out and going swimming I decided to drive up Potato Salad Hill a few times

    20160601_184337.jpg 20160601_184454.jpg 20160601_184514.jpg 20160601_191347.jpg

the 1st try i missed the line and took awhile to find it. The 2nd and 3rd try were the smoothest but my phone was having issues and stopped recording every 10 seconds or so. 4th and 5th try I got a couple inches too far driver on the lower section .. Then too far passenger on the top.

After awhile of that decided better go swimming before I roll Sean's truck20160601_195327.jpg 20160601_200415.jpg

Played in the river for awhile decided to head back before it got dark

 Badass truck. I'm definitely jealous that you got to go to Moab and got to drive that truck.
