Can someone please send me the link for a write up on replacing the alternator in a 2006 pre runner? I'm almost certain that it's been posted before but I can't seem to find one through the search feature.
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick response. Steps seems pretty straight forward except for loosening the tensioner. Any idea which one that is? There are a half dozen pulley wheels down in that area so I'm not sure which one to crank on. Complete novice here as you can tell.

Extremely helpful. I appreciate you taking the time to help a complete stranger. Thanks! Wish me luck. Hopefully with a little patience and a 6 pack I can handle it.

No problem. Check youtube if you need more help. I saw several videos on there. Good luck.

Well, all finished. Overall, not too bad. Took about an hour to get the old one out and about 30 minutes to get the new one in. Definitely a project that will boost your confidence with tinkering under the hood.

In the future, just use Google and add "Tacomaworld" to the search. Works better than the forum search.
