I just refurbished these retrofitted headlights that I bought from Rechelon Aesthetics. The workmanship on them was very poor when I got them, so I fixed them up repainted them, replaced the shrouds, and they turned out awesome. They would be going on my truck, but I need the money a lot more than I need different headlights on my truck, so I'm selling them with the full Morimoto HID kit.

They come with OEM DTRL / Turn signal bulbs and Side Marker / Parking light bulbs, as well. The HID bulb temperature is 5500k. You will need to aim them yourself once you get them on your truck. I would also recommend running a bead of Silicon RTV around the outer seam just for good measure. I was diligent in my reassembly / resealing process, but I'd never recommend leaving that to chance.

The paint is a light, uniform texture, top-coated by OEM Toyota Magnetic Gray Pearlescent for the shrouds, and OEM Toyota Titanium for the Reflector bowls.

What was wrong with them from Rechelon? They usually have people praising the quality of their work. Not sure exactly what changes you made, but nice job.... they look great!

    They looked like this before.

Yes, that is an LED Halo failing one LED at a time, and there is fog (moisture) and vapor marks (from not observing paint dry times before heat-sealing the lights) on the inside of the lense.

Dropping the price, also. I need these gone.

Nothing at this point. I had to stop working on that project to focus more on my efforts at my 9-5.

@shaneckc I am sorry that you've experienced a build that wasn't up to standard but these aren't built officially from RECHELON AESTHETICS. This was a build from Ambiguous in 2014 when he was doing retrofits earlier on. Yes, there was a learning curve he had to go trough and some craftsmanship I didn't agree with. I personally partnered up with him later in early 2015 to form RECHELON and since revamped the building technique. I personally went through all the steps from A to Z and we use all quality parts to ensure a quality build. We've built over 250 sets in high quality. I do take pride in what I do and I put a lot of myself into each build.

I understand Burt is part of RECHELON and his earlier work reflects negative sometimes but I've worked hard to change that moving forward. I only wish I got to work/communicate with you Shane when this was an issue. I wish you the best in your craft as I do appreciate what you're doing. I really do like the unique color choice in what you did with these lights.

@Up2NoGood You have nothing to worry about in your build as this was an earlier piece of work from Burt before RECHELON. However Shane had reasons to not be happy with the build technique. That has all changed as there aren't any corners cut with our builds. =)

    Hey RAD,

I appreciate you taking the time to write this post. I've noticed that you made some changes to your (Burts) old processes and it looks like you're headed in the right direction. It's unfortunate that I had a bad experience with Ambiguous / RECHELON in the past, but I wish you success with your new techniques.

Not since the rebuild. I have not put them on a truck and wired them up, hence the part about them needing to be aimed once installed. But the wiring is plug and play and functioned properly when I had them on my truck a few months ago, and the bulbs have been stored carefully and were cleaned with alcohol prior to reinstallation into the projectors.
