This is not a fuel economy thread. Just thought I'd get that out of the way.
In the Eco App, I could swear just a couple months ago it used to begin a new day's measurement by itself. But now mine only begins a new day when I tell it to "Update" can anyone confirm or deny that? Look at the pic and the dates. I drive daily but these dates are the days I told it to update.

I haven't even played with that yet! I'm heading for a five hour drive tomorrow and will check that out.

Cool. Yeah, if I don't tell it to "update" it will average several days worth of MPG into one single date of the last update. Not a big deal, but I seem to remember it auto updating at first.

Yeah. I get trip info. But my running mpg info is the concern.

I could have sworn I had the exact same thing happen with mine.
I even asked about it in one of the trip reset threads.
I eventually just dismissed it as a false memory.

Mine has always functioned this way since I bought it in Sept. Updating resets it it to the current date

You have to update it yourself. I just do that whenever I fill up.

Yeah. Mine automatically senses when I fill up and it updates my "Tank Avg" but I could swear it used to update the Eco app daily. I vividly remember finding the Eco app after a week of ownership and it was full of days past. Maybe I'm crazy. After some of the responses on here, maybe it was a false memory. I blame Mandella Effect.

Personally, I think the apps a piece of junk. It does nothing to be honest.

I really like it. I hit update every time I fill up. Gives you a nice graphic of your fuel economy over time. The one thing I wish is that you got average speed per reset. It only gives average speed per trip.

I update mine with every fill up. I compare it to actual fuel and mileage math and it is spot on. I dont get much over unless i do some long distance driving on the freeway. Even so on a per tank basis havent broke 20 yet.

I started breaking 20 mpg per tank after the TSB, averaging 20.8 now. Before is was between 18-19mpg.

    800 miles since the reflash.

Man, seems like the after-TSB results are all over the place as far as MPGs. I have seen everything from losing a couple to gaining a couple. I am curious if how much effect there is from people driving a bit more conservatively during the learn period than they did the first time around when it was new and needed to be tested at every light, lol. Hopefully once the 2017's fuelly data builds up, it can shed some light on the actual distribution of results since they all got the flash apparently.

I only have the Cruise issue, so have been very hesitant to get the flash since I like my MPGs and my overall tranny performance. If I knew it improved mileage, I might be more apt to care.

So it is a blank screen for you then? Works fine for me.
