Few questions to the lords of the Tacos:

How much grease will a LR UCA take initially? I pumped at least 15 to 20 pumps and the boot doesn't seem taught.

Will I see grease come out anywhere?

    Thanks

Only takes a few pumps the bushings should not swell or grease come out

Which grease are you guys using? SPC seems pretty specific about what kind of grease, but I can't find a tube anywhere that matches their recommendation.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Boot? You're greasing the upper arm bushings, right?? Why is the boot involved? I pump a few until I hear gas escape and see some ooze out, wipe it up clean and cycle the suspension and wipe up any excess.

Make sure you are actually getting it into the zerk and it's not squirting out all over it.

Been wondering the same. I did a synthetic grease and did 8 pumps in each fitting.

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Lucas Red n Tacky will do just fine. Was doing an install and I pumped grease in til it come out the bottom of the boot, bit I did that before I attached it to the spindle. I personally would fill the BJ up until grease did come out. It should have a relief on it somewhere. Maybe contact SPC tech support for their recommendation.

OK installed LR UCAs yesterday, 10 pumps grease each, i could feel it going into the boot. The manual calls for 5 to 10 pumps at oil change intervals. Wouldn't that be too much? Would the boot swell, or is there a seal that the old grease is pushed out / purged from? Don't want to bulge out my boot, afraid of damaging these ucas, hoping for them to last a long time as they were not cheap
