About two months or so ago I purchased and installed one of your systems on my 09 Tacoma. Everything was great. I didn't have to worry about someone easily getting my tailgate open and stealing the contents. I followed the install steps down to the last word. However, a few weeks I unlocked my tailgate and couldn't lock it. I took the cover apart thinking maybe something came undone but everything is still in place. Do you have any suggestions on what I could try to get the lock to work again?

I'm sorry to hear that this happened! What part number is it?

If it is a power lock, glitches can happen due to wiring whether there is a loose connection or corrosion. If it as manual lock, the best way to figure out if it is the cylinder itself is to give our tech support a call. Either way I would give the Tech number a call because Joe will be able to help you out pretty quickly.

    Technical Support (800) 342-5911 Option 1

Thanks for reaching out. Let me know if I can help in any other way!

    Cheers,
