The valves are very expensive you have an issue with the valve closest to the radiator.

What they do is force air into the exhaust to superheat the catalyst on demand. If the valve is sticking open, exhaust will leak out of the valve back into the air injection system.

I usually test them with an easy test using the techstream, but often its hard to get the problem to replicate when the code only recently triggered. Next I remove the hoses and inspect for water/rust in the piping.

The valves typically stick due to corrosion from water intrusion. If I had a valve stick open on my own vehicle I would be tempted to separate the valve by removing the 4 torx bolts and cleaning the valve plate and spraying WD40 on the valve piston itself.

I had the exact same issue on my 2012 DCSB. It was last year this time, just got back from FL for a week and started to drive the truck home from long term parking at the airport. Truck would not go over 20 MPH or so in limp mode. Called AAA and had truck towed on a flatbed to my dealer 50+ miles away. While I waited for the tow, I pulled the codes off my ScanGauge and scoured TW. There were several threads very similar to this and most all seemed to be 2012's. Think my truck had about 65K miles. Cost to fix about $1,900. All was covered on the Platinum warranty I purchased - even reimbursed me about $150 for the tow. It took an about a week to fix because the parts are hard to get it seems....gave me a Camry to drive in the meantime.
