BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 - Wasting my Money?

    not to mention that there are some rebates you only get with the card. That is the main reason I have one. I just set up auto payments to pay off balance in 6 months or less and no worry

    I have the ko's e rated on my truck and after 6+ months I definitely notice the mpg is lower. Best guess is 1-1.5 mpg lower. I paid $1100+ here in Canada and I had to shop around a lot to get that low installed and balanced. I'd say they are worth it as I drive on crappy roads fairly often and I know that if I was to tow/haul I'm set.

    I just picked up a set of 4 K02s at Costco in Mexico for $675 installed. Might be worth a trip if anyone lives near the border.

    No money, all went to truck...
    I really really don't want to buy load range E but want BFGs from my 16" rims.

    Is that what most people are doing? Buying 17" rims and getting load range C? What size is comparable to the 265/70/r16?

    Also to consider.... If you buy 17" take offs for say on the very low end, $500, that's a lot of miles you have to drive to make that money back. Let's say you save 2 gallons of gas per fill up, thats ~3.50 here in Hawaii. $7 a week if you fill up once a week. It would take 71.5 weeks to make the money back from the 17" wheels. That's not too bad I guess...
