    I took way less gnat bites this year than ever, but my secret was less early evenings in camp and longer trips

    also helped I went straight to pants and long sleeves, i actually got home and got eaten alive by mosquitoes....... +1 for during school RT :D

    We went down two months before you RT and it was great, mid 70's during the day, no bugs, we did get snowed on but it melted so fast it might as well be rain. Also another plus for those that love the Kane trail is there's more water, We found a spot that was so deep i have sand in my head lights.


    Don't blame this shit on snow it was obviously a wheelbase and lack of flex issue.

    I missed this year and really wanted to go. I found out the vibration issue i had. If anyone has a vibration between 30-40 slow acceleration, also light vibration and different speeds. If you know how to drive it where you feel the vibration, check by putting the truck in 3rd gear instead and see if you can get the vibration. If not it's probably your torque converter and you just need to change transmission oil. I spent 4 months trying to figure out what it was. No one knew. I changed u-joints, carrier bearings even balanced drive shaft. I was going nuts.

    Finally fixed, now i just have a new issue.

    I can still see the marks on my ankles. Don't itch but they're still there.

    I found that spray on calomine lotion helps the itch temporarily. Ultimately what works best is just NOT touching them. At all. Period. Scratching them makes them never go away.

    Doesn't work. The ladies at the Pelfrey mansion tricked me into trying it. At least they offered up clear nail polish....
