I just popped on another 3 Chinchillas from AutoGeek.com Caught it at the right time they were offing a discount. They were under $20.00 w/shipping. Going to watch that site a little closer!

Costco yellow towels. Never a prob. And I'm super anal about detailing. $15 pack of 36.

I also bought my 1st 3 on ebay for $17.00 w/free shipping. I noticed lint on my truck while I was using some spray wax. They have been washed twice and I still noticed lint on my black paint. I'm hoping they get better the more I wash them and hang to air dry. Anyhow I thought I would buy these 3 from AutoGeek.com to see if I have the same issue with them. Have a safe 4th!

I thought the same thing too until I tried other microfiber. Big box microfiber just doesn't compare to the ones I use. Highly recommend Everest 1100 from The Rag Company. They are currently running a 20% off sale.

I prefer to keep a white one handy in the center console,

Great for cleaning the interior upper areas and sunglasses. Best if all you know without a doubt when they are dirty...

I save the brown ones for cleaning crap I don't really need to be so OCD with.

Thanks for the eBay link, I just ordered three Chinchillas and will give them a shot.

I do wish we had a Costco closer than an hour away,

    You will like the Chinchillas.

I live 120 miles from St. Louis which is the nearest Costco so I'm in the same boat you are.

Autogeek has the chinchillas on sale again. 6 for $19.99 plus 25% off. You still have to pay shipping, but I think it still equals out to about $60 for 18 towels all said and done-- like the deal you got before from Wolfgang (it's the same company PBMG).

That sale was very tough to skip, just couldn't do it. The 25% was a great deal. However, if you watch there website they offer "gift certificates" you can buy for example buy a $200 gift certificate for $150. Then you use the gift certificate when there are sales with 20% off, that's when it actually makes the prices palatable. I will try to post when they off it. I now only purchase if I have one in had. There stuff is sooo expensive (all specialty niche industries typically are) but my, no talk back Taco, only gets the best .

Can I bump this and see what everyone is still using?

I'm looking for a TRULY lint free microfiber towel, if it's out there.

I have some chinchillas and they have worked well but only after washing them and drying them a certain way.

Just curious if there are really lint free ones out there.

I have never purchased towels from Autogeek or Chemical Guys yet.

Thinking about Griots Garage next maybe.

Google The Rag Company. High quality towels that are better than anything I have gotten from Autogeek or Chemical Guys. Recommend the Everest and Eagle Edgeless.

Griot's Speed Shine towels are what I use to apply spray waxes & details sprays. I have one set that is at least 5 years old & just as soft & lint free as the day I first bought them. Now I've read a few reviews where people complained they left lint. I don't know if they had a subpar batch of microfiber or if the detergent they are using is breaking down the towel. I use a dedicated microfiber detergent & have had zero issues.

Eagle Edgeless are very nice. 5 for $25 Amazon prime. I also really like the rag company Wizzards. It's the EXACT same fabric as the eagle but it's lesser gsm and has a silk border. These towels both last and last. And release grime very well.

The best drying towel I ever bought was $2.50 at Walmart on Clearance.
