Ok, so while the neighborhood is out blowing stuff up, I have been working on my lights for my shell. (I have no life LOL)

Here are the day time images, and I still have to clean up the wiring a bit.

Now I just need some time to clean up the wiring a bit, and all done. I will post some pictures after it gets dark.

I ended up using 26 lights, 4-25 foot spools of wire (2-red, 2-black), 4 diodes and a little solder, and a number of connectors. Total spent ~$50.

After having win-doors, I can't ever see myself owning another cap without them. They are just sooooo handy!

They do seem pretty handy. Makes it so you don't have to crawl all the way in to grab shit.

Thanks, these are the ones I used if anyone is interested. They are in the picture hanging section, and needed to be reamed out slightly to accommodate the bolts.

Those look like they would work , if they clear the washer, or you could put it outside the washer rather than underneath. the ones I found have two mounting holes, making the tab longer, you use the outer hole. I found them at a truevalue.

I plan to use the net for my sleeping bag and other light stuff. It's better to not cram a recently used sleeping bag into a stuff sack as it needs to dry out, the net seems like a perfect place for it to air and dry out.

    Found them on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017P1FPC4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The sticky side holds very well so far. They come in 10 packs, so if you get free shipping they are less than a $1 a piece. I will say that the wires are very thin and delicate to work with, not sure what gauge they are. I used to 18 gauge wire to connect them all, which is probably overkill, but it is what I had available. Really, I should have just purchased some lighter, double strand wire. Hiding the bulk of the wiring is proving difficult.

    [edit]
If you do get them, they are bunched up in package. Lay them out to flatten them out again before installing. If you let them sit on a flat surface for an hour or so, they get mostly flat, but if you put them on right out of the package they will want to curl.

If anyone is wondering, or even if your not ;) , 26 of these LED strips plus the stock dome light pulls 2.08 amps according to my multi-meter.
