After much uncertainty about what to do to my grill after a bad Plasti Dip experience, I found this thread and liked what I saw.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bbp-color-keyed-grille-mod.398636/page-9

I sanded the grill taking time to get in all the small openings....then wiped it down with SD alcohol.
2 coats of adhesion promoter (5 minutes between and 10 minutes drying before adding color)
3 coats of color matched MGM (5 minutes between coats, 10 minutes drying before adding clear coat)
5 coats of 2 stage clear coat, wearing a respirator or death was a possibility....5 minutes between coats.

Very happy with how it came out.

I am not paying $80 a piece when I proved the warning light was not on when they were broke. Dealer shocked. Said that could not happen. I was there when 2 of the 4 were proven broken at dismount.1-2-4 broke and 3 was fine. Maybe if the dealer fixed at least 2 of the 5-6 warranty issues I would not be so adamant but they were definitely broken.

No the only thing I found to crossover is rear floor mats in the access cab and a lot of people are using 2nd gen bed mats. Definitely different vent visors.

I'm not meaning to be a dick but maybe try multi quote next time..... Saves typing on your end and doesn't clutter the pages asking every person the same question over and over. Win Win for everyone.

I know you didn't ask me but I'll answer your questions from my experience...

If you look at the bottom of the page you'll see a section with products discussed in this thread. There you'll find led interior lighting. About 20 bucks. This is a package that includes bulbs for the complete interior.

Just to note... I have that same package and had 1 bulb fail after less than 3 months... Other than that the lights are good and bright.

Next... I have had a couple different nerf bars and running boards. They CAN protect against some dings from cars with lower doors but a full sized truck doors could still ding you if the trucks doors are higher than the bars/boards.

Check Out My Build Thread :)
you can see in my build thread the very bottom of the front flares towards the doors i trimmed a triangle section and removed the pinch weld area... i dont have any head on shots but i did post the spider trax spacer before and after which gives a good side shot. all i can say is you have to run spacers afterwards or get new wheels with a bigger offset to match the tires to the flares. mine looked sunk in and i couldn't stand the look so i had to get spidertrax spacers.

Just ordered my paint for the grill! I went with just the clear coat not the 2 stage clear coat I'm going with a satin black grill then MGM for the toy emblem and bazel. Your grill looks great.

I have been lurking for about a month, but this post motivated me to jump in. Mine was doing this too, I dropped the overhead console and put a 4 inch long piece of camper foam tape on the console side closest to where the dome light selection switch is located. No more stupid muffled rattle. At least I know I wasn't the only person with the same minor issue. @odinsbro15

Speaking of noises, anyone else observe quite a bit of racket coming from these motors at idle? Sounds like a tin can full of marbles with a small piece of Dynamat on it only during low idle and then disappears as soon as you begin rolling forward.

By the way, great to be here, I've only made it 100 pages into this thread and my debit card has tried to jump into shredder several times.

@0uTkAsT - Is it you that is selling SR dark wheels on CL right now?

Variable valve timing will produce that racket. This is the future of valve clatter and normal.
