I am looking for some inspiration for setting up my truck. I am currently working on a tailgate fish cleaning station, rod holders and bow holder for my truck bed. Show off your truck setup!

Well this was kind of my idea. Taking fish home to clean is messy and frankly I am too lazy for the cleanup. I'm kinda a catch, fillet, release person.
The water sprayer was from a kitchen sink, the 20L water tank was from a pop tent trailer and the table I picked up at Cabela's. All I did was add a tire stem to the fill cap, add air pressure (5-10psi I have onboard air) and I have water on demand. You could use a 12 volt water pump if you don't have air. Either way -No more mess at home.
I used mostly found items for this (the table was the only real purchase at $100) I estimate if you had to buy everything new the spray system would be less than $100.
    Little channel cat.
    Good luck fishing guys!

Jumpers welding in delaware did the install, this is a OverTheWaves surf rack.

there are so many options for these things its not funny. this is a 4'x2' rack, they have 5'x2 a,d 2.5'
personally i thought the 5' wide was too much for this truck. this setup fits my 120qt igloo and a 8gal fresh water can fine.

i primarily surf fish but it is great because it frees up space in the bed that would otherwise be taken by the cooler.

generally i dont travel with the rods in the rocket launchers, just when im moving from spot to spot.

they ride up top in a thule snowboard rack.

DEMikey -I like the idea of using the snow board rack as a rod holder! I see a lot of posts for rod holders like the one on the front of your rig; with the rod tips up high and vulnerable. As you said -that set up is quite nice once you are on site... or if you are on a beautiful beach with nothing to hit... not so much if you have to bush whack to get to the river/lake. Thanks for the idea, I am gonna steal that one.

this was my old setup. i went with the wider set and can put 8 rods maybe 10 strategically placed with reels on em.

the only thing i noticed about them is if you decide to travel with the reel installed, you will need to drill the rivet and install spacers between the rack and the feet. its just a 6mm x 1.0 hole. its cake. look under the thule logo on the front one, under it you will see the 2" foot i added to clear the bail wires and crank handles.

14 rods in the new setup. No reels, this is a 300+ mile trip. They ride in under the cap.

    For the hell of it:
    (2) 11'6" 3-6 tica casting rods
    (1) 12'3" 8 and bait rainshadow casting
    (1) 11'9" 3-6 rainshadow casting
    (1) 10' 3-6 tica spinner
    (1) 9'6" 1/2 - 1 1-2 tica spinner
    (1) 9' tica 3/4-3 tica spinner
    (1) 7' 3/4-3 tica spinner
    (1) 7' shimano teramar
    (1) 6'6" shimano trevala
    (1) 6'6" penn battle
    (1) 6' 1/2-1 ugly stick
    (1) 6' 1/4-3/4 st. croix premier
    (1) 7' diawa spinner.

That's most of my salt water gear. I traded lifting a friends taco for 2 more custom rainshadows.

I like this set up a lot. Only thing I would change would be the water supply for my purposes. I'd get a spray bottle like you use for yard chemicals or bugs and pump it up then spray off the fish. Just make sure it hasn't been used with chemicals before!! They're super cheap and don't require an external source for compressed air or power or anything.

    Nice set up!!

I like the idea of the garden sprayer, they are relatively inexpensive -and as you said they aren't reliant on an air compresser. For most people I think your idea would work best. Thanks for sharing.

Tires to haul it from the truck to the water. Sand here is soft so the wider the better.

I picked this 21' pontoon boat up 2 weeks ago. So far I have 4 monster rod holders and a humminbird helix 7 fish finder for it. Can't wait until the weather gets nice some I can try to find some flatheads or muskies. Going to pull most of the furniture off it and use camp chairs to open up some space.
