Does the S/C need a rebuild? And does it come with all the hardware i'd need to throw it on and race V6 Mustangs (and probably still lose) or do I need to buy more stuff. I'll invest in fuel upgrades and a 7th injector down the road...

Curious to see what someone more knowledgeable has to say, since i'm quite the novice at boost mods.

If the stars align i'll take first in line

I need the painted fill-in body part that fits between the front bumper and the headlight assembly (passenger side) also interested in the front mud flaps. I have a '96.

    Thanks

do not believe it needs a rebuild but it will not make your 3.4 a racecar. sounds good, pulls better but its at 12/13 psi it wont murder cars on the street. oil has been changed in the blower a few times in my ownership and i inspected the screws not to long ago. does howl a little at idle.

Yeah, not looking for a race car at all. Just a little help getting going with the truck loaded down, and help cruising at lower RPMs in the freeway speed range. My torque converter throws my trans into 3rd gear for the smallest inclines even at ~65 mph.

My biggest concern is needing everything required for installation.

I'm not familiar with the 1st gen TRD s/c (grey one), but if it's anything like the black one then they typically need to be rebuilt (or at least start planning on it) at 100k miles, more or less depending on how it was used. At the very least, I'd plan on putting new oil in it.
