im about to purchase a 3 inch suspension RC lift and wanted to know if anyone has one and if it gives you a little stance just from the lift itself?

RC (or ProComp) are not brands that are typically used by the Tacoma community as these are usually poor quality lifts. Bilstein and OME are the preferred affordable brands.

I just did a google search. If the RC kit you are looking at is spacers and blocks, avoid it at all costs. A 3" spacer lift will make your truck ride horrible. A proper kit should come with new front springs, and at least an add a leaf in the rear with four new shocks. If you lift your truck 3" on factory shocks you will eliminate suspension travel, meaning the truck will ride like there is no suspension. Also, if you go much over 2" you will need new UCAs. Inexpensive UCAs light Light Racing cost about $400 alone. The RC kit does not include these. Without UCAs you cannot align the truck and you will have bad driving characteristics and have uneven tire wear causing tires to wear out artificially soon.

Post a link to the kit you are looking at so we can better help you. Don't buy a garbage kit, only to have to tear it off because your truck drives terrible and then have to spend more to buy the right kit.

    .
This is sound advice. I have had many lift kits over the years and a several different tacos. One of them was the rough country 3inch lift. While it lifted me 3inches it was a bad investment. You would be better off with bilstien 5100s or something of that nature instead of the rc 3inch lift. Also dont do what i did this last time and settle for a 3inch lift when i really wanted a 6inch lift. So now i get to do it all over again.
