    Weather forecast shows low 90s but will probably feel like high 90s. Needless to say, we're going to spend as much time in the AC'd truck as possible.

    I would if it wasn't summer...you've got all the climbs mapped on there, too. Are you hoping to get some in?

    Also, I don't remember there being a road to smuggler's cave, at least not accessibly by pickup. You have it mapped but maybe you mapped it as a hiking trail? Either way, don't anticipate a drive out there. Definitely let me know if I'm wrong, though!

    Mostly to check out the climb spots. I don't climb but I have been bouldering a few times at Mesa Rim and Vertical Hold; my girlfriend is the better boulderer. Yea, on the map it doesn't look too wide but I'll probably try and drive up it anyway -- will let you know.

    Gotcha. Yeah a lot of it is rope stuff but there are a few boulders around to mess around with. I don't know of many boulder problems that have been rated, though.

    Pleeeaase don't drive off-trail. If there are any road blocks or your it looks like your truck's too wide and you'll disturb land that hasn't been driven, I beg you not to drive out there. I know it's BLM land and so people kinda drive all over the place but I don't want them to shut the area down due to too much vehicle disturbance. They've already banned shooting clay pigeons (for good reason, it was an absolute mess) because of over-use so it could happen. I like to think I'm a good steward when I'm out there so when I'm not, the least I can do is do my best to see that other users are, as well. :pray:




    Okay I'll get off my soap box now... :p Have a blast! Definitely one of my favorite areas.

    Hopefully next summer. Gotta get it looking nice and keep it on the trail this winter, I should be deployed again next summer, so that time will be shop time:)

    well having a fuel door, tail lights that dont break tabs every time I hit a bump, and maybe one color would be nice lol. Getting tired of driving the 3 colored monster
