So the Tacoma needed new front brakes so I did the only thing I could, I bought a 2016 4Runner trail premium. I looked at them a couple of weeks ago and there were only 3 4runners I liked in the western US, after the longest week and a half of my life it arrived on Tuesday. I had the dealer tint the windows before I picked it up so I didn't have to make more appointments later in the week. So far I am absolutely in love, it has so many freaking options I am still trying to see what every button and switch does. It also has a lot of things the Tacoma doesn't, sunroof, rear disk, rear heat/ac vents and a lot more legroom in the back. I'm gonna miss the Tacoma but this is a much better fit I think for me, and for $1900 more than a TRD OR Tacoma too.

Huge congrats. I recently traded in my 14 TRD Off Road 4x4 for a 16 4runner and I am so much happier. The 4runner is soooooo much nicer in every way, they are amazing. I'm sure you will come to the same conclusion real soon, great choice.

already there, had a chance to drive it last night for a bit, actually drove around without the stereo on and I just couldn't get over how much quieter it is over the Tacoma, I'm actually struggling to come up with items I don't like or want to change immediately.

Thanks for doing your part in stimulating the economy!

It helps me not feel so bad buying used and keeping long term.

it wasn't the original plan but hey, I ended up financing the same amount I did on my wife's corolla, I really couldn't pass it up and it's a lot more practical for me now.
