I thought I would whip up a nice storage option for keeping your gear organized under the cover.

KB Voodoo Fabrications gives you the......

    CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, MARK II

    Spec's

    - 56.5" long x 22" wide x 7.5" high
    - Shipping weight 25 lbs
    - Material is 0.080" aluminum
    - Finish is black texture powder coat
    - Attaches to cleat rails with four included T-Nuts and knobs

It will be supplied with three removable dividers that can be placed in 9 different slots, giving you flexibility on where you want to put stuff.

It can be positioned fore and aft in the bed by simply loosening the knobs and moving it.

    Pricing is TBD.

Once the design is finalized, we will go out for parts pricing.

    Input is appreciated.

Bag hooks are a great idea. Consider it done.

It will be 7.5" high, so it will just clear the top of the wheel well.

Maybe make it move able from one side?

I'd love to be able to slide it under the non-moving portion of the factory tonneau, and then slide it out of there on-demand.

    Maybe.

I did purposely size it to fit a double rifle case. I planned on just lifting the dividers out when I went shooting and putting the case right in there.

I think to make it solid and secure, we need knobs on each side.

Maybe it's possible to replace the rears with bearings that fit in the tracks? And knobs or spring-loaded locks (like the stock cleats) in the front

If I understand you correctly, I believe you could just leave the knobs slightly loose on one side to achieve that effect.

What a great idea! So how does it attach to the bed? Would it be accessible from the side or by the tailgate? I would like to gain access by flipping only the first panel. I would be a buyer...

Since it's aluminum, how about type III anodized finish? Beer opener?

Maybe have some extension brackets so it can be mounted to the bed rail, but sit closer to the bed itself? So it's "floating" in mid air halfway between bed and tonneau cover. That way things could be put in/out by just opening the tail gate. Or maybe a tray or something that would sit in the notched out area of the bed?

I think it's a great design as is. Any more complexity will just add cost. It seems very flexible being able to move it to any position in the bed, being able to arrange the dividers how you want, there are holes all around to attach things to the outside and bottom. I'd definitely be interested.

Maybe add a cut out in between the attachment points to account for a softopper/bestop brackets? Just a thought.
