Just got my rvcv yesterday. Installed it just now. I have the back up camera. Tried playing with the wiring and at least use the one plastic clip that clips the wires into place. But cables arent long enough. So i didnt use any of the 3 plastic pieces. Just tucked the wires into the headliner. Lookes great. Thanks guys.

You ever get a response to this questions? I'm actually trying to find out the same thing in regards to a 2014 T4R

No but I have a 2014 now and couldn't switch it. Different mount. You won't have issues though. The mirror in the 2014 T4R is higher. I'm not having issues.

Got my rvcv and the main mirror piece is great but the two holes to mount my ram ball are not. one is tapped just fine but the other hole only has threads for 1/16th of an inch or so at the deepest point and I cannot mount the ram ball... anyone have any ideas?

Was there ever any resolution on any of the cracked windshields? I've had one of these for a while but had yet to install...now I'm a little freaked...

I'm not sure if i spoke with you before but have you considered a model for the 2016+? It doesn't need a riser as much as an additional accessory mount.

    I'm interested.
How would I go about mounting a gopro to the ball?

Also if we could get a resolution to the windshield issue,,, that'd be great. yea,,,

Just got this in the mail yesterday and installed it. What's the general consensus on the cracked windshield issue?

It works for the 2015. I just got mine this week and installed it.

But the windshield cracking thing...that's another issue.

Check out the middle of Page 8. Some guys have had their windshields crack near the mount area. Whether or not if it's because of these risers...I haven't heard anything about that yet.

Hey Jimbo, What are you holding up there on the mount? Heavier than a phone?

I just ordered a set but may not use the rearview mount very much just in case it's too much stress on windshield.

Bumping an old thread, just ordered one of these today, seems like a great idea to me after being annoyed by the oem location of the mirror. Hopefully it shows up quickly.

I have this product and love it. In regards to the cracked windshields, it seems to be from people adjusting the arm of the mirror while on the mount. The extra leverage is what was cracking them. Now in the instructions it states to adjust it BEFOREHAND, and then mount it.
