Conditions on Trail Ridge Road were shitty... no reason to go up there ever.

Thanks, I don't really need another reason to sit in front of the computer. For now I'll just post the best ones that were on autofocus.

This guy stopped us from going to the lake we wanted to get yesterday. He's a sheepherder but he was cool to talk to. I didn't want go to have to shoot my dog though so we moved on.

Curious... do you guys think all the side by side use is widening trails??

Seems like every obstacle now has a side by side track going around it.... could be just me

It is most definitely happening. Those bastards will also pull off the side of the road under the pretense of letting the full size vehicles by rather than back up to a legitimate wide spot in the road. And they think they are super cool by doing so. You try to tell them it's a no-no and they suddenly get offended.

^^ yeah... had a side by side pull off the road to let me by just after the split with radical hill (last year)... he pulled off up into the tundra and just cruised, My dad thought i was going to have an aneurysm.

Pretty disappointing and overall makes it less challenging, and seemingly more dusty.

Why? Then you could be here in Silverton for coffee waiving and getting snubbed by all the snobby FJ guys.

    image_354_397ddc07abb466eba0c55c3e466d331507cc156d.jpg

Just now as we pulled into town. There was a FJ up on stands with 3 wheels off in parking lot. He was alone and had all his gear out of his truck. Pulled in and asked if he needed any help. He was only rotating his tires before his long trip back to Georgia. OUCH

Last week, unbeknownst to me, I had the week off. Had I been informed of the week off earlier, I would have started in Tin Cup and made my way over to Silverton via Engineers pass. I don't think I have ever been disappointed about having a week off before.

This should of been very obvious considering you work for yourself
You need to talk to yourself more :D
