2016 NASCAR thread

It's hard to make this place look even half full. Indy has seating capacity for 235,000 and up to 400,000 if you include the infield. For comparison, Talladega holds 80,000 and Daytona is just over 100,000. Bristol holds a reported 160,000. Crazy thing is Indy was PACKED OUT for the 500 this year.

 

Did leaders pit during last yellow flag? If not it's going to be real close at the end. If there's another caution, will they pit? Will the wave around stay out? This might get mildly exciting.

Son of a dammit. Took out Blaney.

 

Wasn't phantom debris, piece of metal in the turn, doesn't matter, there's not a car on the track running 49" laps other than the 18. He is actually letting off the gas significantly sooner in the turns than everyone else. Never seen a car this dominant.

 

Hope he wins this one. I been sick of the Gordon love affair today...

 

The only way he doesn't win is if Harvick goes 4th to second in the first turn and can maybe run him down in a lap and a half with new tires. Either that or someone spins him. Otherwise it's in the bag.

Haha, well Logano is restarting behind him so I would be a little worried about that!

 

There's no chance of getting him if it's a G-W-C.

 

But Kenseth needs to make his way to the inside.... logano needs to watch out for Kenseth...

 

#20 just drove through all that speedy dry on the front stretch. Outside lane is going to be trashed for restart.

Well I'll be honest... I hate any race with a ton of wrecks and cautions with under 10 laps...

 

I'm okay with a few more GWCs. PRN says Kyle is close on fuel.
