I got the humor. I just tried to add to it. Apparently it went over like a lead balloon too

My old man got bit by a brown recluse a few years back. He almost lost his arm in the process. He was partly to blame ( if you can pass blame in this instance ). The dumb shit thought he was a tough guy a didn't need to see a dr. After about 3 days, his arm swelled up like a damned balloon and was infected as hell. At this point he had to go to the er to get checked out. Long story short. They cut a chunk of dead meat out of his arm and graphed in some donor tendons and shit to beef it up. Bad ass fuckin spider fo sho

I refuse to eat at toxic hell. That's some gross ass shit. And with all the stories about other types of meat etc that may or may not be true. Just yuk

If, and it's a big IF, I eat commercial fast food, I'll get a burger and fries from Wendy's. Or maybe a wrap from Tim Hortons.

Most times I'll eat the shit out of food trucks. 80% of it is awesome. Not like it used to be. Ya know, roach coaches

The only fast food burger I eat anymore is Dan's at Manchaca and Ben White. Very bueno.

I miss Fran's, but it's a Torchy's Tacos now so we still win.

I have never heard of any of those.

When I lived in Hawaii, there was a burger joint that was off the hook. Was a mom and pop place, but still basically fast food. The breakfast burger with an egg on it was freakin amazing. I almost want to go back to get one right now.

Would take a large burger and shake with curly fries any day of the week.
Don't get me started on those buscuits and gravy :drool:

I like the sound of that. There's a place here called Gordos that serves their burgers on class A doughnuts. The one I always get is called the "Double D's" and has a fried egg and cha Lula and other good things on it

If you ever get to Austin, you'll see them. Local joints, not chains. Dan's is an OLD local joint that never died when the chains moved in, and is as good now as it was in the 70s.

Okay, technically Torchy's is a chain now but here in town and multiple locations, not a franchise.

    Soooooo gooooood.

No, but I love queso of its done well and I know plenty of places that do it well and plenty that don't. Also I make some bomb quest with 3 cheeses and fresh veggies. There's a torchy's in Houston near my sisters condo, I'll try some day.
Also there's bomb ass Mexican restaurant in Austin I've been to a few times. I don't think it was torchys but it might have been. It has 2 or 3 floors and I think it's on guadalupe

If I were the religious sort Texas would be my Church. Queso and chips would be communion.
