Also got the co2 mount and new airbox installed! :bananadance: Now I can do water crossings safely again.

Sprayed down the bolts for the catalytic converter with a ton of PB blaster. Hoping I will be able to remove them tomorrow and get the new cat installed. Also hope to get a mount built for the spare sometime this weekend and have that up against the cab.

Thanks bud! I like the plano bins quite a bit. They are little more towards the center of the bed than I would have liked (due to the hi-lift and me being picky and wanting both sides to match), so I may try to adjust them in the future. As you can see from the first photo, I'm not afraid of drilling/re-drilling holes in the bed:anonymous:. It looks a lot better now that I cleaned the bed out, too. It was full of oil stains and dirt/clay from Moab that needed to get cleaned. Which leads me to my next comment:

Those gas caps are a real bugger. Still can't believe it was vacuum locked...

Went out to Twin Cone for the first time yesterday to see what the trail had to offer. Overall it's a decent trail with some obstacles that can give you trouble if you want. The terrain consists of fairly soft soil with a lot of small, loose rock and larger boulders to get hung up on. I decided to bring out the Gopro that I haven't used in over a year and try to capture some photos with it, rather than solely relying on my phone to document the day.

    Scenery from the first lookout:

Proud dad moment; took my 5 year old son out for a dudes day with my coworker Dylan. My son shot a .22 for the first time and Dylan experienced wheeling for the first time (as he's a flat-lander from Wisconsin).

    Obligatory summit photo:

If you look closely (reeeeaaaaally close) you can see Red Cone off in the distance.

**Edit: I've uploaded a little clip from the trail to Youtube as a test. My videos seem to be taking quite a while to process and kick out in 1080p.

...and yes, I killed er in the vid... and dropped it on the sliders a bit:cookiemonster:

Looks like fun! Hey i meant to ask you when we were fiddling around with the truck if you have started to dislike the co2 tank? I dont know about you but mine is running out on me with only 2 tires filled and i dont like playing guessing games when i have to air up. Just curious if you have noticed a dislike to it yet.

I still greatly enjoy my tank! Only complaint I have is that High Country 4x4 charged me ~$30 to fill it Saturday morning... Are you getting rid of yours? Also, why not get a gauge for your tank to see where it's at?

Yup in my 91 i had made the ac compressor into an oba and love the hell out of it. Now i bought a twin arb for a smoking deal and have a feeling i am not going to regret any bit of it.

Thats not bad. I can save about 10$ off that price but its about par. I think for now i will keep it and might just use it for filling tires because it is hella fast and its not working the compressor. But i do have 2 more spindles for the swing outs that i may take and redo the whole rear swing outs and make a modular set. Something that is set up for wheeling in the mountains/snow and then one for more of a long expo type trip.

Might as well keep it since you have the set up already. But, if you are going to get rid of it let my buy that handle from you before you sell the tank!!

I would but i would have to put a handle on it to sell it and the one on ours i had to cut off. They install the handle before the valve and you cant take that valve off either.

You can get a co2 bottle filled at a home brew store for much cheaper. I get my 10lb (I think) bottle filled for about $10.

    Stuff and junk and things...

I get my 20lb filled for $12 at general air using my work account. I haven't refilled my 5lb yet but I think it was like $8.

A few breweries will refill bottles too, nighthawk in broomfield it's $10 for a 5lb and a beer.

Well son of a bitch, sounds like I need to start getting it filled at the local breweries then! They fill the tank with co2, I fill my belly with home brew.

I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for a handle in the future. What did you pay for yours again?
