i installed my cobra 75 underneath the passenger kick panel on the left. the whole reason i got mine is because the truckers will tell you of the highway patrol many miles down the road.... way before my radar detector will. i have a bout $80 into it with the antenna, and it has saved my ass 3 times so far on a ticket. well paid off by the first time

I guess you've already installed it but I was able to fit mine into the tray near the ignition. Sorry for the poor quality pic but here goes!a6890d94-1af0-eee9_50f33b91c01df4bbff8e43414c335f730cee1c7e.jpg

Same here. Also helps when they tell you well ahead of time when traffic is stopped up ahead so you can get off early and bypass it. They're just handy to have.

I put mine inside the center console velcroed up against the back of it. Completely concealed. I really only use it on long trips and when wheeling so I wanted it hidden and out of the way.

You got pics? Did you drill a hole for your wires to come out underneath center console? I might have to move mine! Lol

Remounted my old pace 8025 today underneath the passenger seat using zip ties so I didn't have to drill or permanently mount it somewhere. Initially had it under the driver's seat but couldnt adjust the channels so moved it to the other side. Also ran my antenna from my front bumper above the passenger side fender well and through the grommet that the radio antenna wire runs through.

I am going to place one in mine for logging trucks. Here in Orygun we have a lot of logging roads with a lot of traffic. Channel 10 is used to find out if anyone is coming your way. It only takes one encounter to convince you it is a nice thing to have..

did you ever tune the antenna? i mounted mine in the same spot and got extremely high SWR readings. just ordered a "no ground plane" set up. hopefully that will work.
