Hello 805. Anyone in the SLO area have an exhaust reroute done? If so, where did you go and were you satisfied with the results. Thanks.

    What in the world?

    Even If I wanted to
, my pile can't even go 90. Not that I was driving anywhere remotely near that this morning, nor have I ever on a public road.

    As for "weaving:"

Or would you prefer I join the left lane campers oscillating between 65 and 67 mph?

The trouble ain't with unique cars; It's with sensationalism.

My buddy and I went down to Valencia and had it done by @glorifiedwelder and have been very pleased with it. He does great work. That may be a bit far for you to go, though.

Seconded on @glorifiedwelder. He welded my sliders on and built @inv3ctiv3's bed rack.

It's just an exhaust tube, not building an internal cage. TBH take a picture of the reroute you'd like, take said picture to a few shops to get quotes, and pick the cheapest one!

I'm not from SLO so I don't know any shops up there, but hopefully some locals will chime in

Question for you guys in the area near Moorpark. I am looking for recommended off-road stores, shops, fabricators and even Toyota dealers in the area.

It's my first truck and wanted to get in touch with people who really know their stuff. I have a hard time believing what people tell me online. :boink:

What exactly are you looking to find out? Generally, this forum is a wealth of good information. I understand the scepticism of stuff online, but I've always found that most things that carry a consistent opinion are usually spot on.

    Good luck.

It's about as simple of a modification as you can have done. If they size the tubing appropriately it's with fit I between the double layered pipe and won't cause any extra restriction. Just make sure that they reuse the flange with the spring bolts when everything is relocated as it acts like a flex pipe. And have them add a heat shield to the crossover the keep the heat of the transfer case actuator

Thanks, also I am hoping there is a place where I can also get right away, preferably in stock, than ordering it online and waiting for the mail to arrive.

There is a 4WheelParts down in Thousand Oaks, but most of there stuff isn't really going Tacoma specific. You'll be able to find suspension components, wheels, tires, lighting and such, but nothing made just for our trucks like armor, bed cages or other mods.

I'd love nothing more than to be able to swing by from time to time, but they are up in Oregon. Give them a call. I've received lots of quality advice from them over the phone and they ship quick... and you get candy!

There are various fabricators located around, but they mostly do work by the job and don't have any stock. You'd need to bring a design in and they'd build it.

Again, what exactly are you looking for?
