There's the whole core/Hurst shifter thread, I've been meaning to order one everyone who has them loves them. I want it cause the angle of the shifter will help with my cup holder problem. After the 1" body lift my shifter got shorter and now I can't get at my coffee cup in second and 4th lol

The MagnaFlow sounds quite nice I think North had one on his truck. There's a million you tube videos though

So I got around to installing the new LCE Performance Header today. With the stock header on the truck I was watching the torque on my ultra Gauge just to see if I notice any differences when I install the new header. So after that being said on the stock header at running temperature the torque value was averaging 17 at idle. Now with the new header at running temperature it's averaging 24.5 torque at idle. When running 2nd gear up to about 4500 rpm's then shifting the torque topped out at about 117 on the stock header and now with the new header it tops out at 131 torque at the same rpm in second! But the final test will be to get it back on the dyno sometime this week and get the real numbers!!!

You planning on a short shifter any time in the future?

I've been looking at the one from URD.

oh and btw the screamin taco completed its first road trip to Batesville Mississippi. I was impressed with how well the little 4banger did on the interstate there in Memphis. Held up fine being pushed to the max. kept it in 5th the whole time and never had any problems. Of course I wasn't winning any landspeed records but I thought she did alright! Had on those lt245/75/16 stmaxx. Averaged around 24-25mpgs. I must say I love this little truck. Cant decide if I want another camper shell or to get the voodoo bedrack system.

    I appreciate the info, really.

I'm torn because as much as I want a larger tire I'm really thinking of staying the 245 route but in the BFG AT KO2, SAMS has a promo now with a 50.00 instant rebate, so basically I get M&B for 10 bucks, add taxes and I have their replacement and road hazard guarantee, as well as lifetime rotate and balance. BUT that's only if I stay stock size.

I know if the wife and I can start a family we will trade it in and the better tires will be worth a little more.

    Decisions, decisions! Lol...

I enjoy me stmaxx in 245 but I'm thinking of bumping up to a 265/75 in the cooper at3. Had them on my Cherokee and they never let me down. Thinking about going back to them. They will be lighter than the 245s I have now.

As long as they are 4-ply I'll bet they are.
