timing for a super charger (in my limited experience) is set differently do you know if any programming changes were ever made to accomodate that if it even needs to be done on one of these engines

Computer was tweaked at the dealer to accommodate the added boost and nothing has been changed

Not sure this computer tweak was done at the dealer 8 years ago

Toyota installed the supercharger and performed the computer reflash

has it been a persistent issue since you have had it. i am assuming the sc was on your engine prior to purchase

Yes since I bought it 3 months ago I've had this problem and the supercharger was installed by Toyota 9 years /30k miles ago

hell i thought you'd had the truck for years. an sc engine also has higher fuel demands i think you had the right idea of taking it to the dealer but i may go a step further and try to contact the manufacturer of the sc and see if they will send you a list of the tuning guidelines for that sc on your engine. it's worth finding out you never know may or may not be the issue but you may be missing out on extra performance also. idk if dealers have the tech info forr the sc mike would know but he's in bed i'm sure anyway it can't hurt to ask

Nothing special or different for the 4.5psi pulley I'm using Just a computer reflash . I'm using pink injectors also for more fuel

I'm only running 4.5lbs boost and no added mods needed besides the computer flash tune . I do however have the higher flowing "Pink " injectors

For the 8.5lbs boost I need the 5th injector mod and higher flowing capacity fuel pump and then for safety use a meth/ water injection to control spark knock

I.posted this same question in the 4 cylinder forum and I got a reply stating possible failing pump or pressure regulator

3 hours sleep last night. Long story for another time and place....

Long day ahead. #2 guy not here today, board meeting @ 5:30PM. So.....My day, on little sleep, 15+ hours. I'll be pure joy to be around I'm quite sure.

Storms and MORE rain on the way today. We've had more days WITH rain than without since March. Grass growing so fast you can see it move.

And finally, working on a pair of off road trips if anyone is interested. First is Black Mountain Off Road Adventure Area, October 21/22/23. On (Saturday) the 22nd, we will go from Putney trail head to Evarts trail head, and back again. Probably 9 to 10 hours on the move. Cookouts Friday evening and Sunday lunch. Great camping facilities and the option of renting a cabin. This place is the ultimate off road park. 2nd trip will be the weekend closest to Veterans Day (unsure of date. Will post that later) It will be a single day adventure on the Tennessee Dirt Devil. VERY mild trails. Early stages of planning, but looks like we may have a small group from South Carolina and a small group from Southern Indiana, including a couple disabled vets. This trail CAN be done in a 2wd. Got a couple prerunners in the works.....On Kentucky/Tennessee border, 5 hours out of Louisville.

If anyone is interested, I can get you more details.

    Morning all
We get no info on flashes.
Basically it says if you have a sc this update is necessary.
    We have no specs...
Also as far as sc timing. My boy has a RETARD BOX. For every pound on of boost he retards a % of his timing. So he can run more timing at low boost and then it retards for detonation prevention. He doesn't run race fuel. SC like more initial timing and total timing is all dependent on the cam, fuel, and boost.

Good morning. Warm one here already still no AC. Split unit and replaced the boiler a couple of years ago, guess AC is considered non essential here. It does only run a couple weeks a year. In the 70's didn't know anyone that had AC in the house except a few parents had window units in their bedrooms. But I'm going to go with this:
