I just noticed that they're remaking Ben-Hur and it's coming out in August. There's not one good reason to do Ben-Hur again. The 1959 movie is nearly perfect. There's gotta be a law against remaking a film that has won over 10 Oscars.

That's probably why they're redoing it. Hoping to win 10 more. Stupid.

Just watched the trailer. Guaranteed box office flop. Over the top CG and Morgan Freeman close ups. That worked for Christopher Nolan and batman, it won't work again

I think I'm going to re-watch this again. It's that good. Thanks for recommending it by the way, it was one of those shows I heard about but forgot to check out. I wonder how many others like that are out there. I heard The Ranch is good. I need to check that one out too.

Stranger Things is definitely my favorite Netflix Original Series. I'd be more willing to check out Netflix Original content if half of it wasn't Adam Sandler movies.

lol - his new movies are awful...

I've liked just about every show I have watched from Netflix. I HATE Orange is the new Black but everything else has been good.

    Stranger Things
    House of Cards
    Bloodline (I haven't watched season 2 yet)
Daredevil (though I really didn't enjoy season 1. Season 2 was awesome)
    Jessica Jones
    BoJack Horseman
    Wet Hot American Summer
    Master of None
Grace & Frankie (with the wife)

    On my list
    Narcos
    Flaked
    Marco Polo
    Sense8

I enjoyed Flaked. There's s lot of nuanced humor that could be overlooked. At first I was all "man what a bunch of manboys." Then it got better. There was a cliffhanger of an ending and there better be a season 2 so I can have some conflict resolution.

Lol yeah I remembered someone posted about it the other day...

I did not like Bruno or Borat but this one was a little different and actually watchable. I just had the wrong idea about what I was getting myself in to. I was thinking it would be more like Kingsman (which was awesome btw) than it was the previous Sacha Baron Cohen movies...

    But I laughed...a lot

I just watched the 8 episodes of "Stranger Things" and enjoyed it. The brothers Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer did great job in cast selection, special effects, music, and especially reproducing the "80's" (remember before the internet, cell phones, where more people smoked, those hairstyles and when all cars didn't look alike??)

Don't click this SPOILER if you haven't watched it.

Anyone else have a deep belly laugh, when Mike's mother's response after meeting with "Papa" (Dr. Martin Brenner), was "That guy gives me the creeps", as she is watching him leave her house through the front window?

This may be just me, but I found Will's mother Joyce (Winona Ryder), over acted a tad at times and got tiring of listening/watching it, but didn't affect my review of this TV series.

Is it just me, or does Will's brother Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) have a little, Daryl (Norman Reedus) from "The Walking Dead" going on? The more I watched him, the more he had this bad ass attitude vibe and I grew to like his character more and more.

They did an awesome job reproducing the "80's" and made me want to go back there. The bikes, cars, clothes, music, hair, with the typical looks of inside a home...ect

I just watched "The Purge: Anarchy" and it was definitely the best movie yet in the trilogy, which is strange not remembering a third movie being the best in a trilogy. It's worth watching IMO, just for the acting of the senator's bodyguard (Frank Grillo). On the 2nd movie Grillo plays an off-duty police Sergeant, that tells his ex-wife Janice (Chad Morgan) that he must Purge to avenge the death of his son, and goes out into the streets heavily armed, being a really badass in that role.

I didn't like the first movie and thought the 2nd movie had more of a storyline/plot and Grillo made it watchable. The 3rd movie is the best yet and makes me wonder where they can take the storyline from here and if there will be a "Purge 4". The cast gets better with each movie and at times it can seem over the top, but also makes you think about larger society questions.

Anyone else enjoy the movie Wall-E? I went into it thinking it would be for children, but it really wasn't the "cookie cutter" Sci Fi movie and would recommend it for any age group. I think Wall-E was the first non-human robot I really cared about, except for R2D2 but that wasn't at the level as it was for Wall-E. I didn't think I could care so much for something that basically looked like a pair of binoculars attached to a box, with a pair of tracks for legs and vise grips for hands.

Responding to your spoiler without spoiling - I liked all the actors and thought they all did really well. I bought in to all their stories and had different feelings for all of them that really kept me engaged. I also laughed a lot throughout the whole season. This was just a great show all around...

The 3rd one got me interested in seeing them all. The first one I had 0 interest and the 2nd I was on the fence because it looked like it had more of a plot and the 3rd one really looked interesting but I can't see 1 without seeing them all in order so now I'm waiting for them to hit Netflix or something so I can catch up...

Loved Wall-E and all Pixar movies for that matter, but that's one of my faves. I think Finding Nemo is probably my top but Wall-E is probably top3

I would skip the first and watch the 2nd then 3rd, but I know what you mean wanting to see them in sequence. It seems the 1st Purge should be the 3rd, as it seems they are grasping at straws in that movie.

I don't think I have ever seen that movie "Short Circuit", but it does look like Wall-E's father...hahahaha. I still haven't seen E.T., so there may be more love to give. They just did a great job with Wall-E, but maybe it was so unexpected it just blew me away too. :D
