use the dual sport and save on gas. I kept my dual sport wr450f and sled under a tarp locked up when i lived in my apartment in college.

I think Fabtech does a fairly cheap spindle lift for 5 lugs like ours. I was contemplating doing it to mine, but then I bought two 4runners to work on. :D
And that's awesome of you to keep your Grandmother's spirit living on in that truck.

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I'm going to to keep it under 2k and just do some new treads, a pair of shocks, and a spindle lift. I'll keep the rest of the money

Ha ha yes, you'll have friends that were mere acquaintances before, asking you to help them move. Never fails, I help people move at least six or seven times a year.

spindle lift, 1.5 spacers in the rear to even it out, rear 5100 bilsteins and rims/tires. 235 or 30 will fit without trimming depending on your b/s. or 31s if you dont mind stuffing and scraping on turns.

Not sure what your referring to by spacers in the rear, but as it sits now the aal rear is 3.5" higher than the coil spacers in the front so once I add the spindle it should sit level. I rolled a set of bfg mud terrain 255/70/R17s up to it yesterday and I think I'm gonna go with those and some XD rims.

Spindle lift dont just lift the front end. They space the wheels out quite a bit too. He was talking about wheel spacers to match the added front width.

keep in mind the heavier wheels you go, the more stress you add on your suspension which will eventually lead to ball joint failure and wheel bearing wear. If you decide to offroad, your lower ball joint bracket will snap leaving you stranded. recommend bringing an extra part and tools.
