Which was none. Because I got jeep for less than my taco. I had good equity coming in.

Interesting. I didn't trade my last truck in.

    The more you know!

Depending on the state you reside in. Not always the case.

Depends on your state. In MO you only pay, or get credit back on difference. You don't have to trade it either. You can sell yourself and get same.

OP, just wondering what made you go with the Jeep? Do you do a lot of offroading, then it would make sense, but other then that I dont see it other then you just got a real shitty taco.

I was in a loaded rubicon not too long ago. Its a nice vehicle, but man oh man, its loud and bouncy as hell , I couldn't imagine driving in that thing for more then an hour.

Like @Smitty said, comparing a Taco to a Jeep is STUPID. I actually take it as a compliment that our Tacos ( which is a pickup truck) are even in the same discussion when it comes to Jeeps. Tacos can hold their own when it comes to offroading and when it comes to practically the Tacoma blows the jeep out of the water ( better ride , tons more storage, better resale, etc).

And lets be honest here man, if you bought three vehicles in one year, zero chance you are in the black.

Exactly I had a 1992 Dodge Dakota that I had the extended warranty on. I loved that truck. It was my first Truck. It was 2wd but I didn't care. It had a V 8. Anytime is was more the 80% humidity it would fishtail like a trout. Would smoke the tires like a Top Fuel Dragster and end up going 35mph. On the last day of the warranty the trans blew. So at least I got a trans out that. After that the truck started to fall apart. First and only chrysler product.

ill be curious if your feelings stay the same after 3" left and bigger tires on the jeep. modded truck vs stock jeep, but modded vs modded, id guess you will have similar complaints about no power and rough ride.

There's the "I've personally known multiple people who tell the opposite" comment , I was waiting for that! Ahaha...
Just because you see old Jeeps on the road doesn't mean they are reliable. Have you ever heard of a mechanic or a dealership? Guess what? They fix things. And once they are fixed, they will be back out on the road again, and in the Jeeps situation, for only a short amount of time.
    (ahhhhhhhhhhhh, snap)

I call another BULLSHIT! Jeep Wranglers have far better resale than Taco's. we paid 25K for a 2008 Sahara I ordered straight from the factory. 6 years later when the wife got rear-ended, they totaled it and paid 26.5k. Which then went towards the 14 Sahara!
