    Thanks!!

They've been sitting in my garage for a year. I originally purchased them for my first 2015 DCLB Limited Pyrite Mica 4x4, but that one died on 4/6/2015.

I finally decided I needed room in my garage, bought new Michelin's and had them installed.

Chris, my suggestion is to bring a set of clothes just in case you need to spend the night up here.

Go buy the $15 pitman puller from Advanced. I'm glad we get to practice on your truck, cause mine will be some time after that.

Here is one of those horror stories.

My brother bought some new exhaust headers for his Mustang. Supposed to be like a 10 hour job. Decided he would come over after work on a Friday night and we will knock it out Friday/Saturday morning. We get his car in the garage, up on jack stands, front bumper removed and start releasing the old exhaust. Everything is butter. Old exhaust headers off easy. Try a moment to get the new headers in, ahh wait until tomorrow. Done for the night on Friday, start back up in the morning.

Looking at the install instructions for the new headers and they state twice in bold and underline that the new headers and brackets must go in from the rear of the car forward. Looking at all the new space we just created I can believe they know what they are talking about and we start trying to get the new headers in. Won't fit. Release motor mounts and jack the motor, won't fit. Lean the motor to one side, won't fit. Give up on the drivers side and try the passenger side.

Not to bad, a little twisting and turning on the way in, but not real problem except... We had to remove a bracket to put it in and now can't get the bracket back in. 2 hours later I finally figured out the puzzle and the bracket is in the right location. Go to start tightening everything down, cross thread 1 bolt. Leave it at the time and head back for the drivers side. Late Saturday night, still no progress. Done for Saturday, start again on Sunday.

2 more hours and still nothing on the drivers side. Back is sore from leaning over the car, all that kinda crap. I look at the altenator and decide screw it, we are trying it from the front. 15 minutes later the header is in place. Get it all torqued in, washer up the crossthreaded bolt, send him on his way late Sunday night.

Next time, I'll just pull the frigging motor!

Y'all seriously are going to have a blast lol. I don't have anything fun to do to my truck right now. I have a UCA that I need to replace. Icon sent me one to replace it for free. The stud where the speed sensor bracket mounts broke off when I was installing it. But it isn't a big deal just need to pencil out the time. I already have the sheet metal bent up out of the way since I knew I would have to replace it.

I was about to get them for mine but found a killer deal on some 16" trd fj rims with new bfgs so I took that route instead.

I replaced the diff bearing and lca ball joints and the truck sat in the garage on jacks for a week. I would tear it apart, and take the lca to a shop and have them press them in. I don't trust the rent a tool. I would gladly pay someone the money to change mine out if the ever need it.

    Sounds about accurate:D

Sounds like a little engineering could get someone an Icon UCA.

Any remaining pics/video left to upload...

Yeah if someone wants it they can have it. It is the passenger side. I do have some and I will try to load some up tonight. The videos however were lost. Along with my damn memory card.... It was a 64gb one too

While we're talking about selling items to fund mods, I have one of these for sale and is like new and never exposed to weather. I'm trying to fund my suspension upgrade. :)VooDoo Bed Basket.jpg
