Avid off-road. Ordered it after I ordered the BAMF grille hoping they would look good together. Bought some inferno touch up paint and clear coat, and used some scrap sheet metal to make a backing plate for the TRD cutout I asked Avid to add, trying to make the guard match the grille. Went pretty well I think. The grille brings it all together!

Next I need to order Jerry's sliders to complete the look. I don't like the plain single bent tube slider look, but his kick off sliders with the seperate tube for the kick off have some character to them that I really like. But since I want damn near ever option, it becomes an expensive add-on...

But boy does he make some nice stuff! I was waiting until the grill showed up to make a final decision, but based on the quality of this work of art I am sold!

Yeah, that TRD cutout tops off the look. I too want some nice sliders but like you not crazy about plain tubes. They would compliment your bumper though. Very nice look!

The way he does the kick out I think they lose the "plain tube" look, without being over-engineered like I have seen some become. You know, personal opinion being what it is and all.

Anyone noticing any rubbing with the grill inside the painted plastic ? How's the powder coating holding up against bugs/rocks/etc?

^ Minor rub when installing, and if the grill is snugged up correctly.. I don't see any long term issues(I haven't seen any wear marks yet.) No rock chips either and it's been on a while. Bugs wipe off, but not as easy as a smooth surface(i.e paint, plastic, etc)

all mods requested by the wife (seriously)
Anybody consider throwing a few coats of clear coat on their colored back plate?

Also if you're posting a grill, post your order number for us waiting!

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
All the color matched back plates besides quick sand and white have a clear on them already. And them posting the order number is going to do nothing for you two grille orders shipping the same day ordering inline with each other could have 100 order numbers in between. Order numbers on grilles are not in the order you think they are we get hundreds of orders a week that are not grilles.

Well, guess I was wrong. Was thinking UPS is trolling me.
Got texts from UPS a few days ago that say shipped and then
by end of day on the 27th. Go to the UPS website and does not
show that it has shipped. So now I don't know what is going
on. Guess I will just have to wait and see.

@JLee Wondering, did you ship order #AB-3212?
It also shows on the order details on your website
that it was shipped on 7/21 and scheduled delivery
    on 7/27

Shipping labels were created that does not mean it's shipped we are still packing a ton of orders.

Automotive double sided foam tape. The thickest I could find to try to replicate the recessed look a little.
