Anybody have problems with static coming through the radio? Antenna is picking it up with the leds. Doesn't happen when using aux cord.

I'm pretty stoked with the result. On a side note, Modified85, was nice enough to spend his Sunday afternoon installing these bad to the bone sliders he hand made for me. Thank you sir.

Yup. electromagnetic frequencies are being broadcasted when power is run to them, which is why you're picking it up whenever you're listening to the radio but not when using an aux cord.

Ferrite cores are commonly applied to electronics to help with interference, you could try throwing some on the lines to see if it helps out.

so I bought some POR15 yesterday and sanded my frame down good almost to bare metal and coated it mostly just behind the rear axle. It went on way thinner than I was expected and I had way more left over than I anticipated so I am gonna try to do most of the frame the bed covers while I still have it off.

Im not sure how long this stuff stays good though. I covered it back up with the lid but it was pretty beat up from opening it so i ran to the store and got one of those plastic locking mason jars to keep the air out as best I could until today. Maybe I can keep it for a few weeks doing this if I have any left over? Haven't done the second coat yet so not sure if my method kept it preserved well enough yet
