Repeal the Front Plate in TX - PETITION

We're in TX. They want to screw us over something. Front plates are easy.

 

Those and smoked light covers are a simple a reason to get pulled over. Don't give it to them.









Earn it by doing 60 in a school zone.

 

I haven't ran a front plate in 4 years, been pulled over for it 3 times and never gotten a ticket for it. I just tell them it hinders the performance

 

Smoked light covers? You mean when people black them out and make it damn near impossible to see during the day? Yeah I hate that too, normally isn't a problem but people in Killeen can't drive and like to slam their brakes on despite me having about 4 car lengths of distance. If I could get to Fort Hood without driving through killeen and not make it an hour trip I would.

South siders with smoke covers have them rigged to snap on and off at convenience. Getting inspected? Snap them off. Rolling through the neighborhood with your high-beams and LEDs on? Oh yeah.

Never understood the desire to do that kind of stuff. It's like the whole stickers thing on ricer vehicles or the fart can but not actually modifying the exhaust to be better flowing and adding a true dual exhaust system.

I meant to say visit again, I've been there at least twice that I remember and passed through a couple other times. I've been there in the summer once it was kinda sweaty and I seem to recall ticks.
But I still like Texas, you have the right attitude.

 

You get used to it. Ticks aren't a problem as long as you spray and if you live here, just keep your house in order like any normal homeowner would. I go as far as keeping Orkin on schedule every other month and haven't seen a single tick. The heat just raises your endurance

 

I've never seen a tick the entire time I've been in Texas, going back to 1989.

Scorpions? Got an assload of those little fuckers. Nothing like a trip out at night with a black light to freak you out.

I bet TX jumps all over this also, very quickly due to revenue.
It seems half the vehicles I see on the road now are always on a paper tag or non at all.
Don't know if it's a claimed for export loophole or what but just the numbers I see now is gonna make somebody notice.

What does the black light do with them

 

They stay up late dancing to techno. They can see into the UV range, and they evolved to be highly visible under UV light so they can find each other at night to mate. Their predators can't see them, but they can see each other.

 

Interesting. I like hot weather but not sure I could deal with such critters..or snakes.

 

They arent too bad in urban/suburban areas. But you will cross something you wish you hadn't out in the country
