Put the new shoes on today. BFG K02 275/70/17. Front rubs pretty bad. Lift goes on tomorrow.

How much movement should there be between the ball mount and the receiver. I'm not sure what the acceptable tolerance is. I got a 2" ball mount, and there seems to be a good bit of play, and in not sure if it's acceptable. I measured for the correct drop for my application, but just want to be sure the horizontal and vertical play is okay

Maybe a lease agreement would prohibit off roading? technically you're not off road as long as all four wheels are on the ground .

 

Well I got news for you Chief Walking Eagle. Neither the warranty or my sales contract says anything like that. In fact- I, like a lot of other Montanans, don't even live 'on the pavement'. In addition- there are a SHIT PILE of non-paved state and county roads throughout this state, and some of them would be unpassable without a 4x4 or truck.

They wouldn't sell a lot of cars and trucks in Montana or other rural states if they said that, now would they?

No manufacturer is going to void a warranty simply because you drive 'off-pavement'. They may have issues if you abuse your vehicle, as is clearly stated in the warranty I linked to.

Also, I never advertise guns because those are the first trucks to get broken into around here. Criminals seem to think that people keep guns in their trucks overnight when parked on the street.

Worst part is that in about 20% of the break-ins, they find guns.

I didn't paint the bezel. I just bought the SR model bezel for Toyota, which is black.

 

I don't know if its a Manual or not but, I was at the Toyota dealer near me and they had a 4dr long bed.

Just curious....Why would you cover your license plate for a picture when everyone on the road that you pass, day after day, can see it and write it down if they want to?

 

Just regular screws sprayed with bedliner spray and black paint drilled into the bedliner.

 

did you get a part number for that? Been looking but cant identify it exactly...
