    Live and learn I guess. I think I've tackled every thing that can go wrong - from exploding a bearing to getting a socket stuck on the shaft.

    I haven't even bought a SC yet. But it has 173,000 on it and everything is there. The guy said the nose cone bearing needs to be replaced for starters

    Speaking of which, was filling up the gas tank today, kept smelling gas, right when it clicked I look under the truck and theirs gas spilling out from the top of the tank somewhere. Yay. I'm guessing either the fuel pump ring came loose ir a connection somewhere came undone. Nothing visible was leaking. Sigh.

    It uses an adhesive which doesn't last long. Many people have found that foam strip missing, as it has bee sucked through the engine. Threads abound on XRU. Some have just used a quality high temp silicone to re-apply.
