Cargo bed lights

Looking to replace the cargo bed lights, a place I called sent this in a email

16 Tacoma:
Cargo Lights: 2016 Tacoma comes standard with a non-replaceable LED.

1) is it true, the white cargo lights are non-replaceable
2) the prices shown, are they far?

just curous, what are you hoping for, with the outcome of changing the cargo lights? are they broken, or are you trying to upgrade light output?

what talon said...I love my bed lights.... For me, I have the tonneau cover, which made the cargo light absolutely useless even if the cover was flipped completely open (without being removed), the bed lights were so worth it to me.

 

Gotcha, how are they when ur with buddies out in the country and drinking and having a cookout???

 

unfortunately i dont have any pics with the cover off, but it is much brigther than the cargo light for sure

 

Talk to Matt about it. He can do different colors and dimming controls to customize it and fit what you're looking for. His thread shows many photo's with no bed cover so you can get an idea. I would suggest picking up a rear window security bar while you're shopping too
