Suggest we could maybe add a new section devoted to dealer reviews and ratings. This could include both sales and service experiences. Yeah, it might create an area where threads get locked daily. But it could also be positive to where it would give us a way to rate dealers and get the word out to the good and bad dealers about the reviews they are receiving on the site.

    Thanks.

Rating* elko's dealer is fairly good to work with, when they first opened they sold me my taco a little below its kbb pricing, bought my avenger for 8k after it had a little fender bender. I don't know how they are now since I haven't had to visit them.
The dealer Cory was awesome, not too pushy I don't think he works there anymore, said he'd like to work for a BMW dealership

Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. My first trip there I asked to have the trans fluid checked (not scanned) and a oil change/ tire rotation. They advised me they would check the trans but could not do the complimentary oil change until 10k miles (i was @ 4500 on this visit) because that's the recommended interval for these trucks with full synthetic. They next day when it was finished I advised I would not be there prior to service dept closing and to park it out, which it was not and turned into a 45 hunt for my truck because they could not locate it. When I looked over the receipt the trans was not checked but only SCANNED. But everyone deserves a second chance, right?

Went there 3 weeks ago (6500 miles this time)and it was even worse than before. I asked them to look at the following: TSB for whistle from front end, binding noise from sunroof when closing, check the trans fluid (not scan), excessive chirp noise from motor (pulley?) and one strap on my bed cover is tearing apart, the hood has excessive flex while driving and a terrible noise from the doors during crosswinds. I showed them every issue and noise in the service drive (minus the whistle from the LCA) so they could confirm to the tech that they experienced the issues as well. The next day I get a call that its all done and when I go to pick it up the service advisor tells me the following:

TSB for whistle from LCA - unable to duplicate, no repairs made
Chirp noise from motor - normal operation, compared to another on the lot and does the exact same thing.
Strap on bed cover - caused by outside influence (confirmed with him that it meant I caused this to happen!?!?!)
Trans fluid - there's no way to check it, they can only scan it.
Sunroof noise - claim it was adjusted and fix ( still makes the same noise, clearly not fixed)
hood flex - said hood was adjusted, which I have noticed a big difference on this one. much better now.
Door noise/ crosswind - he advised that this is normal on all gen's and he mentioned Toyota actually is working on a fix for this on all gen's. Didnt have any additional info on it though.

When I expressed to the advisor that i was not happy with the outcome, he said he would escalate it to a manager for further review and they would call me back. Well I'm still waiting on that call

Needless to say, I will not be returning to this dealership for any service/maintenance or warranty work. I left a similar review on YELP and they responded with the service managers info and advised I should call him. Why do I have to chase down your employee's to get decent service??? Isn't that their job?
