    Same here - 100%.

I might have gone with the Inferno instead of the black one I got; I DO like my black one but the Inferno is simply fucking badass.

Oh c’omon I thought you loved your truck

I have doubt on the credibility of some posters with their issues. Some appear to be flakes, all vehicles have their quirks some just nag you to death, those I hate. The '16 Taco is not one of those.

But, It may not be fair for me to vote as I’ve had no issues.
All I can really complain about is the frigging horn. It works but it’s too wimpy, and my front seats won’t adjust up or down, crap! :/

But if I had to do it over again, I’d go for this same exact truck & trim. Can’t beat the maneuverability of the mid size around town parking for me, and the 4X4 on this 3rd gen is awesome!

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

I'd probably buy it again. It actually works quite well for my lifestyle. The only other vehicle I might consider would be a 4Runner, which might work slightly better for me now that I have a dog.

I've have some of the annoyances/issues. I'll list them:

    1. Buzzy vibration in steering wheel/floorboard at ~2100 RPM or so (but I've driven other recently built ones that have the same thing, so it really may not be an issue, just an annoyance)

    2. Rumbling vibration at ~20 mph or when coming to a stop

    3. Excessive wind noise through the seals

    4. Howling differential at certain speeds

    5. That high pressure fuel pump chirps pretty loud at hot idle for me.

Those are my main ones. They have left me a little disappointed, but I still believe the Tacoma is the best option on the market in its class. Especially since they offer a manual transmission, that is the real winner for me. Off road performance, phenomenal, another HUGE plus. So yes, even with the issues I have (the differential and rumbling vibration at lower speeds concern me the most) I would still buy it again if I had to buy a new truck today. I went on a business trip for a week and had a mid sized sedan, automatic transmission and I'm actually really happy to be back in my Tacoma.

However....I will be looking at what Ford offers with the new F-100/Ranger or whatever they are going to call it if Toyota doesn't step up to fixing some of the issues.

At least one is a start, good for you, I hope you keep trying to resolve the rest. You can always trade it down the line and get fair $$ if you keep it in great looking shape.
But IDK of anything out there that's any better, but they do cost a lot more and they're nothing but POS. I know, trust me! :D

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

I'm as happy with my Tacoma now, as I was 8 months ago when I bought it.

6k on an inferno TRD Sport

Only issue I've had so far is battery replaced at 5k.

If I had to do it over again, I would have gotten a 4 Runner but that is more because I rarely use the bed. Looking back, would much rather have the covered cargo space for what I actually use the vehicle for

If I won $50 million in the lottery, I would still buy the same exact truck all over again. Maybe an extra one just for the 2,000 acres of woods that I would buy.

Love my truck and would absolutely buy it again even with the same minor issues. cross wind howl lower control arm - easy fix, chirping high pressure fuel pump another easy fix. Cant beat this truck off road imo unless its another yoda.

Going to suck for folks who lifted and put aftermarket larger tires on with all these rear differentials going bad. Dealers will be denying warranty repairs left and right for them. Thought about putting a size larger tires on but after dealing with 2nd rear diff now there's no way in hell. Toyota already giving me a hard time to fix shit under warranty as is

Its only money! Who gives a crap if something breaks? Fix it and live your life how you want. Wouldn't life be boring if everybody drove the same stock vehicle?
BTW I also have lift shield for my build and it covers all that stuff for 5 years or 60k miles
