Tepui Ruggedized with a weather hood. I use mine in the winter wit the weather hood and it does great, but the weather hood is very nice.

I spent last week at FJ Summit in CO as a Tepui vendor. There was a vendor there with a CVT Summit series as well. I thought it was great because potential buyers were able to do some comparison side by side. I was able to get a closer look at the Summit series too. It's a nice tent. Still some differences that are noteworthy. I won't comment further since it will come across as biased since I sell Tepui, and I have no intention of badmouthing the CVT. But for what it's worth, as a regular tent user I still prefer the Ruggedized. If you know anyone that was at FJ Summit and looked at tents, it might be worth asking them what they thought between the two.

50/50 mixture of water & bleach, spray it on and let it sit for a minute or two then wipe it off.

One point needs to be clarified : The Tepui Ruggedized is the M3 (carbon fiber roof equates to the metal floor in the Ruggedized), the EA is the runner-up 335.

Ok so @HolyHandGrenade and I compared tent materials... The CVT to me feels thicker. Its stiffer but maybe cause mine is brand new and his was in rain on thursday night.

Krystal mentioned that the inside of the Habitat was looking kind of overly metal and tactical, so I bought some mango wood veneer from a Pennsylvania furniture supplier and covered one of the walls. I might end up doing all four in the same pattern eventually, but I'm driving to Colorado this week so the other walls will have to wait. I threw rivnuts and a fabric MOLLE panel on the other side. Managed to do all of it without putting any holes through the side of the aluminum, but I did end up making three little dimples on one side that I'll have to sand down and repaint after I get done putting some more dents on her over the next few weeks!

The new trend is bed bars. I just ordered my self a set of allpro bed bars yesterday. The average price for a set of bed bars between $150-$200. Bed racks will cost a little more. I've seen them prices from $400 and up.

No problem. Bed bars are just a single bent tube with L-channel ends that bolt into your truck bed. The bed racks with will have multiple bent tubes running side to side and will be welded together with tubes running front to back.

This is what I have observed with my own experience.

The bed racks are usually very shout, can hold a lot of weight, and distribute that weight more evenly along the bed rails. Cons of the bead racks are that they are large and will take up more space when off the truck.

The bed bars seem easier for takin off the truck and store. Cons, I'm not to sure.

I had a bed rack for last year. I loved it, but it stayed on my truck all the time and I never had to worry about storing it. I now live in an apartment and I didn't want to be caring my bed rack and RTT all the time. That is one reason I sold my rack and bought the bars.

The CVT is slightly thicker (380g) compared to 360g on the Tepui. It's a small difference, but CVT does in fact have thicker material on the Summit Series. Tepui felt like 360g was a good weight to still be very durable and maintain good breathability. Thicker materials can start to retain more heat in hotter months.
You should also compare things like the anti-condensation mats, and base materials etc. As I said before, both are good tents, still with differences.

As far as I know non of the manufacturers make something like this... I could be wrong but it would probably have to be a custom job. But doable non the less.
