Pretty clean 2008 tacoma TRD 4x4 5 speed auto with 95k miles on it pretty damn good condition. Wondering what a reasonable sale price for it would be. Dealership wants like 23k which i feel is pretty high.

    thoughts?

    where are you located?

PNW? Just to give you an idea my truck I bought 3 months ago for 20,300 everything you see on it came with it including 6 in pro comp lift and loaded with features. It only had 73k miles on it.... our trucks stock should sell for around 18k-20k where I am at.... but where you are located might be different.

Thats what I was thinking they should be selling for as well. Im located in northern California in Humboldt county. people are pricing them outrageously here it seems.

California is more expensive.... I lived in Huntington Beach for most of my HS days and yeah no doubt its pricey. So it very well may be good in your local market. That being said if you came to northern oregon and washington you can find for less.... I worked at Dick Hannah Toyota for over a year but I am now in the insurance business. If you like I can see about finding you a great deal on one? I am sure I can find a better quality one for less then what they are asking.

Never forget they are always priced way high so they can 'give you' a nice allowance for your clap trap trade in.

There's at least $2-3k on the table for that alone.

not always. It really does depend on the vehicle you are looking at in it depends on your trade. Do not always expect a dealer to have thousands of dollars marked up into there vehicle's I had customers get angry with me when I could not take off 500 dollars and get pissed and walk out EVEN though I showed them exactly what we paid and what we were selling it for.

That $23K is the neighborhood of what I paid for a 2008 TRD Off Road 6 speed stick with 42K miles about 18 months ago from a dealership. Took about 3 months of watching, lost out on private seller one on Craigslist in that time that was around $21K with over 100K miles. No trade in, paid cash and was able to talk him down a little, he was asking $24K. I'm near Fort Collins, CO.
