Finally the color match is done. I will put it back on next week to enjoy the truck without the cap lol I like it with and without, but without looks a bit better IMO.

 

Looked like a crack in your windshield, mine just got cracked. Thats what i was referring to. My bad.

 

Firewood truck

 

Wife took the girls for a joyride while I worked. Figures.

 

mine does the same every chance she gets.

 

A Deuce & a Half makes for a hell of a firewood truck.
Expensive oil changes if it's a whistler, though.

 

i only burn 6-8 cords a year. But a few trips and it's done. I don't own it, just have access to a mountain property tract with roads where a Tacoma (loaded or not) doesn't want to be often, and use of the truck.

a few big loads, if i really want it easier, i use the skidsteer to load it too. Not my machines though.

 

Yet she loves being able to keep the house at 76 all winter.

 

Hear you there. Tacoma's are great trucks, but they're not great work trucks. Not for real work, at least.
My firewood machine:


She'll haul a half cord of green without touching the bumpstops, and the granny 1st gear is perfect for lousy woods roads.
But, you've got to make about 10 trips to get a year's worth, lol.

Thank ya, thank ya. A buddy and I did a one-nighter in at WMA east of Cornelia, Ga on a whim earlier this week. Nice little 20-30 minute dirt road to get back to this campsite right on the stream.
