Love those. Aside from new wheels and tires and lifting the thing, retrofit headlights totally change the look of the truck!

Cool truck. Cool build thread. Love the mix of build with trip report.
Really wishing i could drop change for a SC. (Where's that Mad Jelly smiley?)
I can't hardly wait to get some ST Maxx's on my Tacoma. I've gone through 2 sets on my Tundra and love them. Great do everything tire.
Waiting to see what happens next!

It's been a busy few days! Got a deal on a lightly used Sthil MS171 chainsaw the other day, then yesterday the girlfriend and I picked up a CVT Mt. Shasta Extended in green. She got a Mt. Rainier extended as well so we can fit ourselves and the kids when we go out. So stoked to go out and get some use out of them! I also bought Bobby's used Prinsu Cabrac and I'll be installing that tonight. :D

Ye olde RTT! I'm gonna get an actual Bedrack soon but for now the bed bars will do. :D

@05TacomaORE ,@DarkShark and I decided to hit up the coast for some sand action today. Freakin awesome time. I had never had the pleasure of driving my truck on the dunes.

Are the bed bars actually that much worse than a full on bed rack?

I actually really like them but I want to be able to use my tent annex and they are too short.

They're not worse in any way. Just a personal preference to what you want to do with the bed setup, or how high you want the cargo you carry on them to be mounted. (They are my bars he is borrowing for now lol). So it's all up to how you want your truck setup.

Usually not a fan of aftermarket headlights, but those look badass on your truck.

Thanks man! I'm not usually either but these basically cost me nothing and I used my OEM housing.

How are the St Maxx holding up? I am making the switch to 255/85 I believe and they don't sell the STT Pros in that size. I have heard some complaints about premature wear with the Maxx. HOw many miles do you have on them?
