Hello all- new to forum. Just got rid of 98 Tacoma 4x4 extended cab with 230k fun miles. Had manual hubs for old fashioned 4 wheel drive. Never stuck in SC hunting and one Minnesota winter. Now proud owner of 2016 TRD off road and hunting season approaching. My off road use is limited to not getting stuck, not exploring limits of what truck can do.
Confused about 4x4 mechanics after reading manual and watching video. LSD explanation and precautions seem to conflict with what I (thought) I knew about positraction limited slip differentials in cars. So my questions are below:

In 2WD, which wheel has power directed to it on dry pavement?
If that wheel begins to slip?
In 4WD, which one(s) have power?
Same questions with MTS and crawl control

If all this requires is directing me to a video or someone else's explanation, please don't redo it here, just steer me to it.

    Thx
