I could try the 20th, but I'm usually at my sister's helping taking care of our mom. @TXpro4X4 Bryan, I'll try to make this? Friday would be best for me though... just saying of course. LOL, so hard to meet with you guys, LMAO!!! I'll ask her (i.e. my mom) if she would like to stop by with me??? She can't walk very much and is, for the most part, wheelchair bound. So, that will be one thing for me to keep in mind IF she was to come by and meet some of you people??? Anyways...

@ODNAREM Ron, I'll try to see if she would want to come down?! She gets tired fairly quickly so it will probably only be 2hrs or so IF she was to come down. Anyways, again, we will see... :fingerscrossed:

I'll just play it by ear then. God man, I've been wanting to take her to Catalina Island and stay there for a night or so. She's never been there and I haven't either. Even thinking about taking my sister. Typical me, I'll probably just say F'it one day and just GO, LOL!!!

@ODNAREM Ron, you're right, "Wild Thing", LMAO!!! My little feeble attempt on my amazing burnout in front of your house on the 4th as well, LMAO!!!:rofl::rofl::D:mudding:

Funny, after you told me what my wheels were doing, or lack there of, I've been looking at Detroit TrueTrac LSD for the rear. I'm NOT too crazy about rock crawling (i.e. hardcore), but want my rig to be that much more capable as well a little bit better suspension setup, turbo and/or SC, headers, catback, slightly bigger wheels and tires, etc etc etc and the draining of the bank goes on, LOL!!! Welcome to Toyota!!! :drunk: LOL, ROFL, LMAO!!! :crapstorm::goingcrazy::facepalm::frusty::boom::ballchain::annoyed:

    LOL, chicks are secondary, LMAO!!!

Catalina is coo man!but if she is not moble then not sure its going to work. There is quite a bit to doif walking. There is transportation like gas golf carts and such but its taxed. The are some tours but they are taxed 2.

The tickets are taxed to unless you take the slow boat, is like 2hrs.
Do you 2 get sea sick?

She will be in the wheel chair and I'm used to the walking, LMAO!!! Trust me, she let's me/us know where she wants to go, LMAO!!! Dude, kid you not Bryan, we could be shopping in a Stater Bros for almost 4hrs+ straight!!! You HAVE TO believe me on that one, LMAO!!! No one likes to go shopping with her, LOL, ROFL!!! It's NOT that it is the shopping aspect, it is that she just LOVES to look at EVVVVVVVERY THING, LOL!!!

Regarding transportation, I heard about the golf carts and the tours. I was wondering if it was possible to go "around the island" in one of those??? I would expect some sort of $$$ anyways, so not all that surprised. I would make a decision on such things as I am there. Shi-, I myself would want to do something like that anyways (i.e. cruising/mobbing around the island). Maybe even see some USO's :alien: going in and out of the water, LMAO!!! You realize that Catalina is considered a UFO "hotspot", right???!!! THAT SHI- would be F'N cool dude!!! LMAO!!!

Regarding the barfing boat, I don't know, LOL!!! Can't say I've ever been on a boat myself other than those X-mas tours that you can take at the Long Beach Marina or near there. But, that is inside the harbor and not the open seas, so I don't know what breakfast would look like, LMAO!!! I know one thing, I/we ain't fly'n out there, LOL!!! I did think about the sea sickness thing... so yeah, that has been on my mind about it. Not for me, but for her??? I'm almost certain she will be able to handle it though, but obviously don't know until such a time happens.

So, with all that said, I already expect the $$$ aspect of it. I even looked at some of the overnight stays and the cheapest one I found, at the time I looked, was around $190 or thereabouts per night and obviously booked in advance. It doesn't have to be during peek summertime moments either. I just want to take her there and out and about. I even want to take her to the Sequoia's some day. That would be much cheaper, but still want/would like to take her to Catalina as well. Just alot of questions and unknowns that would happen along the way is the only thing that I would be having/experiencing???!!! If anything, the Sequoia's would happen first and there would definitely have to be motels that would need to be stayed at so that I have to look into. The "lodging", I don't know??? That shi- would be some real $$$ right there and I just don't have that unfortunately, but driving around and such during the day wouldn't be too bad as far as I know.

Anyways, lot's of shi- I want to be able to take her out on, LOL!!! Get her out of the F'N house and Stater Bro's (LOL) and "see" the world as much as possible. She's been cross country a few times when we take trips from time-to-time from Kali to Iowa. Bro, going up the mountains is a F'N NIGHTMARE, LMAO!!! Car just is NOT used to that kindof elevation and steep hill climbs. So the next trip we did, we took the southern route, which is much more "flat"!!! Anyways... something I've been chewing on for a while now... just gotta pull the trigger!!!
