I asked them about that recently. They dont carry the ST Maxx at all, anymore. Even on ebay.

 I ordered the 255s not long after they came out in that size. I wonder why they stopped carrying them. Glad I got them when I did then.

I might just end up getting the Km2's for $869 at 4WheelParts, I kinda want the Coopers but since I already have a KM2 spare and they are at least $40 cheaper than any place with the Coopers, I might just get them instead.

We'll see, I think I can put another 5-10k on my current set with no problems.

My km2s were great when they had good meaty treads. Once they started wearing down, they were all over the place. Little snow traction, and wet traction was horrible. Plus they started cupping and became hard to keep balanced. I had regular alignments with balancing and I did my rotations every 5k but still didnt help. Thats what got me off my butt to get new tires. And I figured since I pretty much never go off roading, the coopers made more sense to me. I thought about duratracs, but saw better reviews on the maxxs. Might have been my truck, my driving habits, or an off set of tires, so YMMV.

    Literally!

Yeah, I might end up getting the Coopers, I just gotta think about it.

I'm not sure if it was like that from before but I've noticed the outer tread on my two rear tires is much more worn than the rest. I'm pretty sure I'm running the correct tire pressure and the inner tread looks fine so not sure why it's wearing more on the outside edge :notsure:

Rears themselves are more worn than the fronts overall too.

I ran about 40psi on mine. When I got them I chalk tested them and 40 was the best contact patch I could get and 40 was a nice round number that I wouldn't forget so I stuck with it. Wearing more on outside edge? what about inside edge? If both edges, you need more psi. If only the outside edge, stop cornering like its a viper :D

Only outside edge on the rears, that's why I don't think it's a tire pressure issue.

I think I've been running 32 front and rear but I honestly haven't checked in maybe a couple months :anonymous:

I corner like a grandma

Got the @Pelfreybilt camera relocation mount on today. Even easier than I thought it was going to be, just tested out the location and wire run before measuring and running two self tappers into the gate. I just zip tied the slack wire to the gate but I might get those square wire holder things to clean it up a little but might just leave the zip ties :anonymous: You can just barely see the corner of the tire in the camera, but that was all the wire slack I had without extending the line so I'd rather just see a little bit of the tire than extend the harness 2".

Also finally banged out the little wings where the spare tire sits just in case I ever need to squeeze my spare up there for some reason. All I would have to do is get a cloth or something to protect my wheel since I have the matching SCS.

Yay! Come on down here and do mine and I will provide lunch and drinks! Ha ha. I'm to scared to try and pop the camera out of the tailgate handle.

I've had it ghetto rigged to my license plate for maybe a year now :anonymous: Taking it out of the tailgate handle is nothing, just gotta pop the tailgate cover off and take it out. Couple Torx screws for the cover and I believe hex bolts for the tailgate handle. If you get the relocate mount and come to a meet up, I can help you  Speaking of that, are you out for sure on the Peters Mill trip this Tuesday?

I'll be doing a weekend run again soon probably, @fatfurious2 's work schedule is difficult to work around  so we had to make this one a weekday run.

I'll keep you and the NoVa thread posted for future rides.

Picked up a Slime 12V tire inflator for $20 while I was at Target. Looked at some reviews real quick before I bought it to make sure it wasn't complete junk and tested it out today. It took about 3 minutes to do about 5-6psi, which is pretty good considering I have 33's and a little 12V pump isn't really meant for that. I'll try it out some more when I go down to Peter's Mill on Tuesday since I wanted to be able to air down a bit and I don't have the time/patience/money for a compressor system right now.

Be sure to keep an eye on the inflator while doing the tires. I have a little 120v one that I have used before. It tends to get pretty hot in the motor area since I don't think filling a 33 from 15lbs to 40lbs is in its job description ;)
