Alrighty, a couple years ago I had my JBL system gutted from my truck and totally replaced with aftermarket equipment. Since then the JBL stuff has been sitting in the basement collecting dust. I finally decided I need to get rid of it all, so I put everything up for sale on Craigslist. I've gotten a lot of interest but everyone who wants just has the stock taco sound system.

I was under the impression that the JBL system amp wouldn't work unless run the through JBL wiring harness, which I'm thinking is still sitting in my truck..though I'm not really sure. When the aftermarket stuff was installed the existing wiring for the JBL system was left in the truck (as far as I know).

Anyways, everyone who is interested has told me they won't have any problem with the install, but I'm not sure if people really know about this stuff or are just assuming the install is like any other system. Maybe it is just as simple, I don't know but I thought I read something on here years ago and it seemed to be a bit more involved than that.

Anybody know of a thread that shows a JBL system install in a non JBL truck? Mines an 07. If not, any thoughts? I'm only selling the whole system for $80, but I don't want to sell it to somebody if it won't work in his or her truck! Thanks!
