Hi, new here, just got the T4R Trail Premium. The Premium part is very nice, but wanting to try out the Trail part of it now :):)

My wife and kiddo and I are going to Hidden Falls Park August 20th (Saturday). I think we have a few friends coming in Jeeps too, but I wanted to see if anyone lives nearby and wanted to come show us how it's done, we haven't off roaded much.

In our stock form, we are going to stick to the easy trails (1-2 difficulty), but don't let our party-pooper-ness keep you from coming and doing the good stuff.

I have had 2 Tacomas but both Prerunners. Now that I got a 4X4 it's time to explore.

    Thanks!

    Hey man!

You should post over in the Texas/Austin forums. there are dozens of us, I tell you- dozens!! That's likely to get more traction on stuff like this.

    Cheers!

Thanks! We went there that weekend and it was a lot of fun. We'd love to meet up with some other guys. Absolutely going back in cooler weather!

Well, funny you should say that. We got kinda turned around near the hog alley area and started going down Carnage Alley before we realized that was it. So we had a pretty good obstacle to overcome and the 4Runner did it with style. Fortunately we found a way to get out of there before the hard stuff, but still gives us plenty to look forward to when we finally get some sliders and better tires.

Pretty area up there in Marble Falls, looking forward to returning soon.

Carnage canyon is actually my favorite trail there! Assuming you didn't find yourself in the bowl with high ledges and a serious climb out, and bypassed it instead. Either way, it's a fun ass clinching trail! Especially without sliders, believe me I understand the feeling
