    Anyone seen my wallet?
i went with an alpine shallow 10, 350 RMS, my amp is 350 nominal at 4 ohms on the sub channel - should be perfect.

That's exactly the way to do it. Should be a great combo.

That is what is listed on the sub. I know some of the ratings are BS. I got this sub with a package deal with my Hybrid audio speakers. My whole sound system sounds good in my Tacoma. It did not make sense to purchase a different sub.

I wasn't meaning anything negative about the sub itself. I just hate how a lot of manufacturers embellish power ratings.

No problem dude, I do know how manufactures claim their numbers are this and that. I have my installer doing a lot of installs on my vehicle for a long time. When I dicussed this set up with home he said too it did not make sense to buy a new sub o replace the pioneer. If I would not have got this great package deal with everything together I would not have bought a pioneer sub. I'm not knocking the sub it does sound good. But my problem is I usually don't cut corners with audio equipment. I have a full sound system in my Z06 Vette sound deadening with all Rockford speakers and sub. At the time the Rockford amps were on back order so I went with a Kenwood 5 channel amp. I did my homework on my corvette for this set up. When it was all done my installer said I could compete with this sound system. That's how good it sounds. I have been dealing with my installer for over 30 years in the business. They do competitions with car audio. If you heard some of these systems how they sound.

Do you have a link to their website? I competed years ago and always like to see what people are up to these days.

I like the ipad dash, where did you get something like that? And how did you connect it to all the speakers? With one Aux cable?

Nice, my bed cubbies get everything soaked in there when it rains. I'm assuming you would have some way of sealing them all up?

I sealed the holes in the cubbies and have a clear acrylic cover I made for the cubbies that will enclose it.
And those Kicker speakers are marine boat speakers also.

I got the bezel from @shaneckc On here. I no longer use it, but I hat it going to a Pure dock, which went from that via RCA's to a DSP.

That's a nice clean install. Looks great!

Like how the radio fits in the dash with no apparent gaps.

Still have to pull it out once more to re-fill/sand.... got carried away installing it back in and a lot cracked. I'll probably just start from scratch to get it back to a nice finish.

Nexus 7 installed linked via Bluetooth to a cheap ish head unit, then wired in to come on with the truck and go into a deep sleep (up to a week without charging) when the truck shuts off, and 128gb of music/tv/movies...

Wanted a "factory" looking set up, so I designed this from scratch so nobody could tell it was a tablet on a mount and try to steal it, plus this just looks better. Mostly 3D printed parts designed by me.

Very happy with it so far! Just need to get that finish sorted.
